when it comes to thermals ur going to be fine. In my experience Razer laptops are good at maintaining temps as low as possible and the fans are good for dissipating heat. Synapse helps a lot with that.

The biggest recommendation I can give to anyone to buys laptops (of any brand imo), would be to get a laptop stand so the bro can breathe properly. If you plan on having it hooked to power current all the time, I'd suggest removing the battery. Not sure if that would void warranty though as it counts as "disassembly". So do that last one at your own risk.

I am trying to decide between the Viper V3 Hyperspeed and the DAV3 Wired Ultra.

Previously had a Viper 8K which was not bad but definitely would have preferred wireless. I already own adapters to convert mouse from AA battery to AAA and would use Lithium batteries. Viper 8K also seemed slightly small for my hand while a Glorious Model D2 seemed a little big for my hand. While I like how ergo being slanted might be good for my wrist health, in some ways; I don’t like how it makes the mouse feel like it’s falling out of my hand. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Might post this in help later, but I just bought the wired Basilisk V3 and have been running into inconsistencies with the scroll wheel. In Synapse, the Scroll Acceleration toggle has the description "Amplifies your scrolling speed when in Free Spinning mode". For the times I've needed this feature, its great. However, I noticed that the "amplifying" also happens when im on Tactile scrolling mode as opposed to what the description says for scroll acceleration. I assumed it would only amplify the scroll when in free spinning mode only. I have the Smart-Reel toggled off, and normally have just been using the mouse button to change scroll modes. Does anyone else experience this issue or am i just interpreting the toggles incorrectly?

I have the kraken v4 pro and it's great for THX spatial sound that NO ONE will end up using because of the clipping in normal audio.

I have the Razer Tartarus Pro. Its not bad. My only complaint is I wish the DPAD was an adjustable thumbstick ): you can configure it to act like a thumbstick at least

Theres some people that make and sell thumbstick mods for the Tartarus though. Razer was so close to the Tartarus being perfect. All they needed was a thumbstick option like these and maybe a few tweaks 😭

IF Razer ever did and its probably not likely - I hope they make it a hall effect thumbstick with interchangeable thumbstick options + adjustable module for the user preference

Just a heads up if you getting a headset DO NOT GET THE RAZER BARRACUDAS. They cracked at the earjoint in the same place as everytime. i have gotten 4 RMA's but they never fixed the issue with cheap plastic. Yea, The 35k is just a mild refresh not like a complete overhaul. The biggest difference is the presence of gen 3 mouse switches and of course the 35k dpi focus pro+ gen 2 sensor.

i just bought the huntsman v3 pro mini and just have a question. i dont play roblox often but a friend asked to play and when i tried playing it was reading the keyboard as a controller. not sure if that is a roblox thing or a razer thing but im just curious if it does that for any other games and if im able to stop that

Go to device manager in windows and at the very bottom disable the devices labeled Xbox 360 peripherals or something

Synapse 3 doesn't do this and I've reinstalled synapse 4 by deleting fully everything and reinstalling but same issue

Another issue is that for my synapse 4 on blade 18 2024, when I set the razer logo to off, whenever I reboot my computer, or shut down and start it again, the logo comes back on again and won't retaib my "off" setting, every other setting will be able to properly save and sync except this

This one is the smallest of the black widow v4 line. It uses the same switches as the v4 75% and v4 pro 75%. But doesn’t have foam to dampen the sound. It also has phantom key caps, which means, the light shine through the bottom of them however he has been said that those key caps wear down more often

bring back fn remapping!!!!!!!! do it like mouse left button when not in hypershift, require a different key to do fn function before remapping the physical fn key! i need it for my huntsman mini analog to swap right alt with fn, then use fn+enter to toggle some mode where right alt, right shift, right ctrl, and that other key become arrow keys! I dont wanna hold fn to use arrow keys just toggle it for when im coding and untoggle it when playing so i can use right shift!

also its not imposible just do a firmware update so the keyboard sends fn events to the pc and then make it remappable

or at least make it onboarded so every mini keyboard has this toggle

You can upgrade the battery up to 2000mah, Mic is fine, just tune it in the app.

Problem with 2023 model is it's all digitally controlled.

Speakers are always at 100% and volume control is controlled at the PC/device instead of on the headset itself.

So enjoy hearing white noise and hissing during moments when there’s no constant sound being played.
