i updated bios which caused a major issue to occur so i downgraded which fixed that issue, but then my keyboard would stop working on restart unless i replugged it. i fixed that a few days ago by changing a bios setting iirc, but now the lighting sometimes doesnt work unless i replug it, even when trying to change it in synapse

i have a question about razer synapse, im trying to do a complicated ammount of macros and i was wondering if there was a way to toggle the hypershift by pressing a key and when pressing that same key again it dissables it

even just in general toggling hypershift would be really helpful

if you have a keybind ( i use caps lock ) , you can easily switch through profiles and in these profiles you can have the things you wanted to have in hypershift as the normal keys

can you save and use advanced macros with the on-board memory mode (without having synapse open) on the Basilisk V3?

1 and 2 use the basic optical switches, they're a bit better than mechanical, because they activate faster because they use laser technology.
Number 3 uses the new analog optical switches, which can detect how much a key is pressed down, using a better laser technology. Their actuation point can be set to 0.1 mm (meaning, you just touch the key slightly, and it registers)

In short, Number 3 has the best switches, you should check out Analog Optical switches for more info.

With rapid trigger, the moment you let go of the key, it instantly stops the input, and then you can press the key again, eve if it didn't go all the way back up. It lets you spam very fast

v3 pro at 188 uses gen 2

gen 2 is supposed to be better, but some people say it has some issues

idk if that's true though

on the razer website, it says that GEN 1, (the $112 one), also has rapid trigger

take a look at how GEN 1 and GEN 2 keys work, and choose what you think it's best I guess

if you only need rappid trigger, go for the cheaper GEN 1

GEN 2 can be used like a joystick, because it recognizes how far down you press the key

But there are very few games that support that

because the game needs to allow you to use booth keyboard-mouse input, and controller input at the same time

honestly, it's not that amazing. For me, only the rapid trigger is usefull

and it's very hard to train your fingers to not press the key all the way down

we're used to press the key all the way down most of the time

so in most cases, having that 0.1 to 4mm actuation point on the more expensive GEN 2, is kinda useless

but hey, it's there if you need it

your choice, you should ask other people too, watch yt reviews of GEN 1 and GEN 2 analog optical keyboard

and see if the price is worth it

I only ever used GEN 2, never tried GEN 1, so I cannot tell you which one is better from my personal experience

I'm just saying that if you only want rapid trigger, gen 1 is fine too

i have been using this mouse for around a day, the mouse was perfect i was loving it. i then just tried to play some roblox with my friend and then the mouse started to bug. if i hold right click, it starts to bug out and it just keeps spamming the right click button (when i hold right click). I've noticed it only happens when the right click button is held a little too firmly. i have to hold the right click JUST so it clicks instead of holding the mouse button decently firm to get a good grip. If anyone could help me in this issue ill give you something in return for the support.

The V4 75% (non pro) is excellent on its own. Hot swappable switches, preloaded with orange ones to begin with which are my favorite. Feel soooo nice. So if a switch dies you can swap it out

I wouldn’t even consider the regular huntsman mini (non analog) if you’re gonna get one get a v3 pro TKL or the mini

this is an insane issue the fact updating synapse, or in my case uninstalling, can softlock you out your own pc is crazy

so if you ever come across this issue sorry to say the only option is to spam f8 on windows boot and do a system restore point

also discovered that razer rgb effects HATE icue being in hardware lighting mode, synapse and icue both have to be open for it to work correctly

or in my case my icue elite screen gif thingy on my cpu had to be set to 30fps

I currently use a Razer Blackvidow V2 TE (TKL) I've had it for about 6-7 years. The paint on the keys is starting to wear out and the wrist-rest should have been replaced years ago.

I also currently use a razer mamba. I've gone through about 3 of them over the years, every time the mousewheel has an issue with scrolling up when i scroll down, and down when i scroll up. Idk what causes it.

Tldr, I'm looking to modernize my setup as its like 7 years old now. I like my blackwidow v2 alot. I like how chunky it is. I like the weight, the green switches, the soft wristrest.

I've never had a need for numpad as I'm a MMO player.

It doesn't come in TKL from what I can see.

I'm worried the 75% might be too small.

Ngl I thought the same but it’s really not. Your only options on the new TKL department is the huntsman v3 pro TKL (analog linear optical switches) or the Deathstalker v2 pro TKL which is wireless and has low profile keys, optical switches either red (linear, silent) or purple (clicky)

if you want a smaller keyboard with greens you get can a Blackwidow v4 75% (non pro or pro, pro has other stuff like the oled display and command dial and is wireless) but both are hot swappable with switches

Yeasss thats my daily driver but I also have the Deathstalker v2 pro and huntsman v3 pro both TKL and the low profile means the keycaps are shorter than standard ones

And optical switches works kinda like an optical sensor where there’s a little primitive sensor camera inside of it that detects when a key is pressed

And analog on the instance of the huntsman v3 line means you can adjust how much you need to press a key down to register input

Orange is wayyy better than green imo. They’re both rated for the same keystroke lifetime but are way quieter but unlike the yellow mechanical switches 🤮 they have a tactile bump and also sounds very thocky and are great to type on
