does anyone know why the audio quality on the razer barracuda x (2022) Hands free ag audio mode is so bad on discord its forcing me to use that mode of stereo which sounds much better it wont allow me to use my mic on stereo mode ive downloaded the 7.1 surround sound but it only goes on the stereo mode my question is is it possible to use my mic in discord while in stereo mode? im using it wirelessly atm

my first experience with razer products was great to touch and look at it and 1 week plus multiple complaints for the customer support to get the software so i can use all functions 😄 (there was a glitch on synapse and i was getting white screen)

i am here because my spacebar just glitched and deleted the whole text i was working on for few hours... i had to move my deck so i can unplug and plug again the keyboard because i couldnt even access the start menu and click restart

If you have a wireless mice and you want to see the battery of your mice, I found the 'Razer Battery Checker' program by spozer.
I've tried a lot of similar programs and that seems to do the best on Windows.
His python code is a little bit broken so I used ChatGPT to fix the code issues, and after some prompts I've got my python script running.
I converted it to exe and made the app run on startup.

If you're looking for the best / flat sound then I'd recommend the blacksharks in my opinion they are the best tuned Razer headset THOUGH since it is a "gaming" headset it is tuned for that game sound. I'd even say if you're just looking for music listening then the OPUS is geared towards that. I can't speak on the barracudas they are meant to be Mobile/PC use which could mean they are geared towards game sound or neutral not sure.

Also I don't know about the maxwell nor penrose. I don't use Razer headphones myself besides a pair of Opus for on the go. And Shure aonic 50s for PC use

I’ve always wondered why mice don’t let you set any dpi you want. Like why not let people set 401 or what ever they want.

So back in Feb I bought a Deathstalker v2 pro and I loved this keyboard right up until one of my keycaps broke. The key in question is the 5 button in the number pad, one that I rarely use outside of data entry and 1 game. I had had an arrow key break on me prior but I assumed that was due to the odd angle I press it in Counter Strike. It's not the first time I've broke that key, basically every board I've had has broken there. The 5 key is an absolute mystery to me though. I have never once slammed this board, it was nearly $300 after tax. I baby it and clean it weekly. It was when I was wiping down my caps that I noticed the key was loose and sure enough half of the caps stem connecter was in the switch.

I contacted Razer seeing if there was anything that can be done because they don't sell the keys on their site. The CS rep told me they were going to fight for a replacement for me and that they were going to escalate the issue. I just received a mail saying that they weren't going to help.

I'm livid at this point, this is a really expensive keyboard that broke under normal use conditions. They ignored my request to purchase new caps, At this point you've lost me as a customer. Over the years I've had brought 2 Viper Ultimates (the coating was wearing down on my OG and I wanted the new one with v2 switches), a Lachesis, Blackwidow, and a diamondback plasma from way back in the day. I have always defended Razer because I've loved their products. The fact that they are willing to sell me new caps for an extremally expensive keyboard is mind bogging to me. I now understand the hate that they get and they have lost me as a customer.

Well that really depends on environmental. My floors are always dusty. Not as bad as shipping company who doors never close but not great. I found using laptops was not bad fans blow dust out mostly. But just leaving off on desk collected most dust I now keep in razer case when not using it.

I am thinking about buying the Razer blackshark v2 pro. But I play on PS5 & I was wondering if when I am setting up the audio settings like THX spatial audio on the PC. Then when I disconnect it after setting up the audio & hook up to the PS5 will the settings stay how I set it up? Or will it only work on the PC?

Pressing down the key means bottoming out, and the opposite is topping out. Which means the keyswitch/cap is going back up and makes a sound when reaching the default position

What do y'all think of the Razer Leviathan line? I just bought a Leviathan X and I like it so far. Sounds good to me, RGB is sick, and having a button to change source on the soundbar is huge for me but I'm not expert on sound so idk if it's "actually" good.

They are great for the price but the sound quality can really change or improve with some software options.

V4 has removable buttons right. I know I'm a big fan of the v3 love it. Green for gaming and orange key for typing I been using for a life time. Also try red and purple options for a few summers.

IMO wireless is the future, the latency argument simply doesn't exist anymore. Ofc they still cost more than wired but I think on most mice the price is well worth it.

Yeah it's definitely the future. Latency is 100% not an issue. For me it was more the price was more than double a Viper 8Khz which I already had, and I didn't care about the cord, but now that it's gone, I'm glad it is. They just need to make them cheaper and maybe with options to go a little lighter

I got the V2 Pro to not only try wireless, but it's 10g lighter than the Viper 8Khz, I'm still waiting on my 4Khz dongle tho. And yeah I agree, wireless keyboards are only good if you sit far away on a couch, at your desk there's no reason to get one, the cord can be hidden in many ways

however i don't play shooters nor do i have a high refresh rate monitor

uses a good chunk more battery too

Ah okay, well either way, I already ordered it just before I got the mouse. I play plenty of shooters and have a 144hz monitor. From my experience 2khz is the sweetspot for gaming as 4khz disagrees with some games and 8khz disagrees with a lot of games

This will definitely invalidate warranty, but I am considering a DIY project regarding the regular white Barracuda Wireless.

These headphones in particular look perfect for a minimal, all-white setup, and if I can find a way to cover the Razer logo on both sides of the earcups, that would be nice.

Please recommend some possible methods to do this. Currently, I am thinking of sanding the flat area of the earcups, covering the rest of the headphones, then spray painting layer by layer in white (will try to buy white spray paint with closest shade to original white) until I have a satisfactory result and logoless white Razer headphones.

be prepared to spend to get another barracuda if shit hits the fan mate
