when i got my DAV3P it was the first mouse i bought new and it came with grip tapes, i tried em out and oh man, they make a world of difference, excellent grip, i really regret taking them off but me being me put one of them on wonky and it bothered me so much i just took it off, need to buy some more soon.

Well the cable that came with my DAV3P works with my series x controller, and the one i linked seems to be the same cable so i cant see why it wouldnt work with your controller 🙂

Although even your phone charger would work with your controller, i use my USB C to C that came with my phone to use my controller so i dont need to unplug the dongle for my mouse.

The cable that comes with the Elite series 2 is an amazing cable but it gets in the way. It’s to stuff and rigid. I have a razer mouse (not sure which model but it was less than $100) and the cable that came with it is perfect. Speedflex I believe is the name. You can’t even tell you have it plugged in when you use it. The one you shared is a date/charging cable and is the same as the one I have for my mouse. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work either.

So ive recently picked up the viper ultimate for myself and noticed that the battery lasts much shorter than the 70 hours that its meant to. ive dropped about 40% in around 6 and a half or so hours of using it. Ive had the RGB off when I first set it up and I now put it in power saving along with putting the pulling rate down to 500 instead of 1000, and its kinda made a difference. Ive read on a website that other people are having about 30 hours of battery which is about right with what I'm having. Is this normal or should I get my mouse replaced?

I don’t understand the trend of everybody Jonesing for lighter and even ultralight mice.

I tend to play better with larger and heavier mice, it’s mostly preference but your grip, play style and hand size all play a role as well.

I’ll happily add some grams if it means getting some more buttons, especially a sniper button and a free-spinning scroll wheel, which is a godsend for certain games as well as browsing the web.

China is biggest complaints about cost and quality they fight really hard to get access to manufacturing contracts for sure. Many countries have lots manufacturing contracts to them.

Yes well if you don't have a high speed dongle already the cost is much higher with it included. Just the mouse it's not so bad compared to other mice it's cheaper. I know they did lots of fighting about high speed dongle prices. Razer website was blocked access to stock for not changing price. But hopefully everything get worked out before release day.

Also they get a list of hardware the high speed dongle works with. The high speed dongle will not support all older hardware. Lots of older hardware on steam website customers are using for 1080p gaming will not support it.

You need 9 generation I think or better not 100% sure. We had to wait for new hardware to be available to customers before selling it.

Have you made any adjustments in software. I know I use different settings for typing and gaming myself. But purple should have fast response or rebound so it detect ever key press even fast typing. You need to have stronger fingers to use the green switches or newer version with adjustable analog inputs.

Should I purchase the razer firefly v2? I want the speed of a hard mousepad and the chroma on it looks cool but I'm a bit worried that it could damage my mouse feet over time. I'm planning on using my Razer Basilisk V3 with it, how long would the feet take to degrade?

I could also purchase the strider, it looks like a great pad but the lack of chroma is a little sad lol. I know there's a strider chroma but it's too big for my use case so I would wish that there was a smaller option

had the same issue with my viper mini after some months of use

pparently a lot of other people with other mice had it too

then i found an old reddit post

on it was a few months old comment

that showed a russian guy cleaning the wheel by just

spraying it with some glass cleaning [i tried with glass cleaning, probably multisurface ones or similar ones will work too] solution while scrolling it really fast

letting it dry for a few seconds

wiping it off

then shaking it so that no stray droplets stay inside

i was pretty skeptical but it had more than thirty comments - all positive, and this is not counting the reddit comments - which were also positive

In research of your comment i have a few things to state.
My mouse is brand new, fresh out the box it had this problem; uninstalled and reinstalled hardware no shabang.
The scroll wheel up works fine; But down, it seems to skip alot. so as you move your scroll wheel you will feel is scrolling mine seems to work on the 2/5 which becomes so tedious.
