@grand perch when I last mentioned why Intel needs another clean sheet redesign of CPU architecture is all because of pressure from Zen5 and homogeneous hybrid configuration. I mean a unified core architecture for both performance and efficiency simultaneously can not only share same fundamental features, but also simplifying thread management, and desktops and laptops have different performance and power goals leading to domain specific products, like gaming laptops and desktops would be sort of all-P-core-only ones while thin and light remain hybrid.
Also in terms of video GDDR in future, I mean would it be better if GDDR die sit next to the actual GPU die on the same package substrate for latency reasons? I mean to make future GPUs more like memory on package. Thoughts?
