I spent over $700 AUD on a Razer BlackWidow V3 Ultimate and a Razer Naga Pro, and both products are an absolute disgrace. The keyboard barely functions as a basic keyboard and has been plagued with issues since day one. The mouse constantly has problems and now refuses to connect, turn off, or even reset, Razer can't even put the effort into adding a physical way to reset or power off the mouse if it gets stuck in a power saving mode. Worst thing is I have already had the mouse replaced once under warranty, how the hell can a mouse worth literally hundreds off dollars feel and act like some $5 Chinese made piece of crap?
Razer used to make quality products over a decade ago when I first became a fan, but now they are nothing but an overpriced scam. The quality is utter garbage, and it’s clear Razer is just milking consumers for cash with zero care for reliability or build quality. I will be recommending to every single person I can find not to get this rubbish and to go with literally anything else.

Hey mate, that's a very valid frustration - I'd recommend you reach out to the Aussie Retailer you bought it from, or to Razer Support as they'll be the best to help as we don't have direct access to the warranty/RMA process 🤞

It's no longer under warranty, I had it replaced already halfway through the warranty period. Razer support can't help a non software related issue.

I don't think a mouse should only last 12 months before having to be replaced just to have another different issue another 12-18 months later when the mouse costs hundreds of dollars.

Razer doesn't have stores within 1000km of me, not even sure if they have stores in the country.

Australian consumer law covers a product for 2 years, after that it's up to razer.

Razer also only provides a 2 year warranty, I had it replaced already for a seperate issue in that first 12 months.

I have no direct line to razer except through discord and social media, I'm not going to submit a ticket to wait for 3 days, I'm going down to the shops first thing in the morning and buying a logitech or steelseries mouse.

Nothing physical in Australia (I'm in Melbs myself) - Best bet would be to reach out to the store you bought it from for some advice as well around what options you might still have, even outside of the direct warranty

I reched out to JB Hi - Fi and they just said they cover it for 2 years after that I need to reach out to Razer, I have reached out to them before and it took days for them to get back to me. I'm not going to go 3 days with no mouse just to have them tell me their policy covers mice for 2 years and I need to buy a new one.

Squeeky wheel gets the grease but I hope some razer affiliated people are in this chat and can see these kinds of problems and fix them before they wrought other people out of their hard earned money.

I unplugged it from my PC after a lan

Mouse lights on can't get it to turn off and it won't connect to anything via cable

If I plug in the dongle the pc picks that up fine, mouse the lights stuck on, I put it into the off position, BT or 2.4 underneath and nothing changes

I have reinstalled synapse, I have uninstalled all the drivers, manually installed them back on, tried the firmware updater etc

PC just refuses to pick up the mouse, I have tried it on another desktop in the house and my laptop

All the same thing

Every fix I see online is "Wait for it to run out of battery or alternatively take the feet off the bottom, undo the torx screws and disconnect the battery from the mouse for 10 minutes then reconnect it"

I'm not doing any of that, I'm going down to the shops tomorrow and buying a steel series or logitech mouse or something and throwing this piece of plastic rubbish straight into the bin

First mouse I got the right click and left clicks where completely different feel and the left click started stuffing up after 4 days then i get this mouse on warranty can't even last 2 years

I still believe on the watching vids for reviews, since they tend to give you the general idea of the product. and its up for to decide if your gonna buy it or not. and also true User experience like Hands on are way better to give you the feels and everything because not all reviews are the same. its just a matter of preference

I personally never watch reviews. I would ALWAYS prefer to get a feel for myself and review it that way. People's tastes always differ and some may have expectations that others don't.

Normally I watch the reviews only for the Specs and what it looks like and how it works. Mostly the functions and everything I see realtime when I already have it onhand or when I bought it

See this is a good use. I agree with this. 9/10 I usually research myself so I know specs. If I'm genuinely watching a review, it's usually a comparison to something I've already used so I have an idea of the differences since I have that experience already.
