Well very strange windows device Manager not detecting it. I normally see if firmware update software detects it then check windows log for errors when plugged in. You did try rebooting and windows updates as well

Well first if you take apart some would unsold cable and test it. But lot when manufacturers usb have testing equipment they check wires with see if it responds.

Some tools on Amazon have basic features for this they test both usb connections on pc and usb hardware plug in.

I know some great usb testing tool, log and record data signal information and check if wires broken. Lots of people were worried what if they put that on network cables. Some just lol.

you could probably get a razer viper 8k for around the same price on amazon.
And the razer has a current gen sensor, supports up to 8k, clicks are always at 8k. super low click latancy. The shape is much more ergonomic. The razer software is better IMOP.

I went from the krakens to the black sharks to my current Aonic 50s and just bought a Siren mini for a mic

But I do also know A LOT of people who have tried my pair has complained it isn't "oomph" enough because they are used to the cranked up bass sound and they don't like a flat profile
