Higher dpi isn't necessary a good thing use what's comfortable and you'll end up much better than just cranking the dpi up

Older mice (doubt it's a thing with today's mice) would interpolate once the dpi was set too high

3200 is honestly the max I would ever recommend

I have V3 pro, it sucks. Constant connaction issues and turn Sofa audio when you pause a video or something. Often the light blinks and you have to re-stick the dongle into the PC. When audio turns off you have to turn the Headset on and off again for it to work. Doesn't quite work with SteelSeries Sonar (for me at least). RGB, Sound and haptic feedback is good though. But not worth 250-300 CHF. Get a Blackshark if you are in for the audio and comfort. Or a Sennheiser or whatever they're called.

I doubt it's a grounding issue in your house usually if it's a small shock it could just be static from a dry environment. If it's continuous when you run your finger on it it sounds like a grounding issue. The fact it happens on the Xbox and MacBook tells me it isn't the house(I assume the MacBook is unplugged from the wall when you tested it)

If you have electrical tape you could put it on the edges and that'll probably stop it temporarily

yeah I figured. Some connection in the dongle is problem broken. Could be something as simple as a cracked solder joint on a lead to the USB connector portion(could explain why it doesn't even detect it) or it could be a bad chip In it

Request to razer: I have had complaint for a while now but a friend's middle mouse button just died so can we stop using these kinds of switches just because everyone else uses them?

Having a common weak point (either due to the switch being mechanically fragile or due to the required wetting current being too high or both) goes against Razer going green.

Consider changing the middle mouse button to opto-electric as well
