yeah you see they had run out of the black paint coating for the mouse and they could never get it quite the same again so they just said you know what ... thats it. Razer made its products and paintjob coatings so hard to replicate you see they could not even do it themselves when needed. Razer is often imitated never copied you see.

If anyone has failed to get a hold of a black one, if they’re not doing any more drops for it, I couldn’t recommend the steel series aerox 3 enough. Do I want a black vmse, yes I absolutely do, but the aerox 3 on sale on Amazon for £60 has been an absolute steal for me atm 😂😂

The magnesium build with its unique coating makes the feeling of the mouse incomparable to any other mouse.
The clicks are like a sound of art to me. It's like you could make out an asmr video of it
To summarize, it's just good mouse
As of recommendation, I would definitely recommend it. IF you have enough money to spare
It'd a really good mouse but, as everyone knows, with 300 dollars you can do much more or buy 2 endgame mouse and have leftover money.
And as you know, it's not really for big hand people
So if you have big hands unless you can use fingertip grip or maybe claw, not a good choice

I do have fairly big hands, being 6'3", that comes with it haha! Then secondly, the price tag does play a big factor. A couple items can be purchased for the price tag of just this one item, so again, I am in agreement with you there as well.
You did make some serious key points though. If they made a model/normal sized model, then I think it could be a purchase I'd make.

I have a Razer viper v2 pro with a 8000 polling rate dongle. I’ve been using the viper line for years. Starting with the viper ultimate. Be honest, is the Razer viper SE worth it, or should I wait for future versions like maybe a SE V2 or Viper v4 pro? I play mostly FPS games and will it make a big difference from my current mouse?

-49g honeycomb is pretty average for Ultra-lightweight mice now.
-sensor is now outdated, succeeded by the gen2 in the viper v3
-battery life at 8K is lacking compared to new razer mice.
At the end of the day, it’s a “high-end” mouse for a niche customer-base.

Thankfully my copy doesn't have any defects 😅, side buttons are not loose, no creaking or anything, the RMB sounds a bit different to the LMB, has a bit deeper click which I can live with.
I've had a few QC issues with my Basilisk V3 Pro, Deathadder V3 Pro etc, so I'm happy this one is just fine, so far haha

I really think that in the year 2173 they will re-release the black RVMSE its going to be the 150th release year anniversary edition and it will be used as just a presentation item because the box will contain a biogenetic AI chip that implants itself into your cerebral cortex for gaming ... so it will come again I think but it wont be used really except for super retro PC gaming on artifact PCs that are over 100 years old.
