Not really the feeling difference is very subtle almost subjective , also black paint can absorb light making it inherently warmer while white reflects possibly making it cooler

Hi, I have a Viper Mini Signature and it simply stopped recognizing glass mousepads, does anyone know how to solve this?

I thought it was the surface, but I tested it on my 9 glass mousepads and none of them worked anymore, only on my fabric mousepad.

yeah I think a rubber scroll wheel is cheap and pedestrian, the feel of a metal scroll wheel and luxury is beyond demanded by enthusiast esports pros such as myself. grips just increases resistance considerably while allows you to put considerable amount of pressure onto the mouse for precise control during fast movements.

Technically something like the clawmate can make gripping more ideal due to the physiology of human body.

I have a natural bare raw dog grip I love the feeling of Raw magnesium and I never ever slip or lose control of the situation, save the grips for those who subscribe to needing that due to mass hysteria of mouse companies including that in the box most of the time. I'll say this:

Commonly on razer mouses, they have heavy optical switches, and more slippery surfaces, making hand sweat a problem when gaming, and even me as a gamer, my Razer Basilisk V3 can be slippery at times. For general gaming, grip tape is not required as such, but is an option for people who get sweaty hands. Function over form, it is to provide a better grip, and no guaranteed slip-ups or hard to grip mouses. Gripping tape as you classified may not be used for e-sports, but for casual gamers it can become a great use and help.

For drag related reasons on mouses, it is highly recommended that grip tape is used, for performance and ease of clicking. Razer mouses are not recommended for drag clicking, with the type of switch used in the mouse. Grip tape still has benefits on other mouses and it's about your personal preference.

I am not against or proving your statement wrong in anyway, just a thought to consider. For experts, form is another matter, but in this situation, function is important. So, whatever can get your A-Game with the VSME, even if using grip tape, it is 100% acceptable and is recommended to be used if it suits you.

How's the vmse white build quality compared to black?

build quality is very similar but I found the scroll wheel changed over time on the black copy, I only used my white copy for a day and put it away so im not sure if that would have any play in the future. The quality overall is top tier this is the best quality AMBI magnesium mouse on the market in terms of overall density of the magnesium and the alloy wheel quality is also top notch and the razer 8k polling and what not is also world class, the overall look is also top tier and the covering on most of the exposed internal components is also there

You are either in the magnesium camp or your not and im firmly in the magnesium camp I just prefer magnesium over all other mouse build materials, Especially that cheap feeling plastic that has been known to cause cancer and get into the blood via microplastics and cause heart attacks and strokes!

So far i can say the feinmann is really solid, i just needed some time to get used to the "ergo" shape. If you need a new mouse or you are just curious, i would recommend it. If in need of a more thought through review, boardzy has you covered!

this is a picture of my Titanium alloy mouse, its a full shell no hole mouse comming in at 56g on the scale , its had a 3395 sensor and 4k capabilities and a large battery capacity. I believe it also has transparent huano blue shell powder pink dot switches. The 4k dongle is also made out of titanium....

yea, my unit's scroll wheel got loose and started to rattle within 6 months. My first copy from the first batch had a lot of main button creaking. I have to admit that razer's rma service is fantastic, so you don't have to worry about getting unlucky with the QC. They will send you a new one over.

My rma black copy of week 32, 2024 has no apparent qc issues, other than the usual main and side button wobble that pretty much all units have. I do not know if they have made some changes to the white one tho.

All the units i have owned have button wobble that can be perceived as rattle when you move sideways. It is a non issue if you press the click vertically.

Side buttons too have considerable wobble and play. Once again a non issue if you press the button directly.

That is about the complain i have. Also, the middle mouse button is a bit light - a minor nitpick.

Also, the clicks are loud and have a bit more post travel than i'd like.

The side buttons have no pre or post other than the switch plunger. It is very light and snappy too!! I'd say it is perfect except for the wobble.

the main button clicks are lacking imo.. i prefer the beast x mini huano blue shell pink dots over this, but that can develop double clicks(mine have, and needs 1ms debounce delay)

and is much better balanced than the VMSE. VMSE is front heavy

it has a much closer shape to sl12 btw.

the click wobble/rattle can be reduced by gluing the three posts with b7000 glue

It makes the click a bit heavier, but i prefer it over stock. Glue also makes it more snappy since it stiffens the clicks.

This copy has quite a lot of white crusty stuff over the mag alloy... not good for 300$ 😐. The WL mouse doesn't have it either. Interestingly, my previous copy didn't have it.

well, it only comes with a set of glass skates, a set of ptfe skates and 2 sets of grip tape. The grip tapes are quite bad tho if i am being honest compared to geckos v2 ( the best in the buiz, and i have used super grips and the corepad ones)
