For me the ONT is physically registered by the provider. So if I change the ONT I have to register the new one with them and they won’t accept anything that has to be something they know/sell. My current box has an integrated ONT chipset so it’s better than before but be aware that you can’t do much if they don’t approve your installation.

To be clear, "explicitly designed for" does not mean "it will". It just means that they put a lot of effort into maximizing the probabillity of it lasting 600k+ miles. I wouldnt expect a model to last that long as issues with new technologies always creep up on ya, how ever many lab tests you run.
But the trend clearly points to pretty extreme reliability, which is improving dramatically over time.

I actually cannot say anything about how bad/good the quality is beyond my own assumptions. Simply not enough data. It could be real bad it could be real good. Afaik the internal data ses things are improving, but it could also be that the data is false.

the really hard part is coorelating the data. Gathering public info and stitching stuff togeather to get an idea of whats going on. Like with the lithium ion "12V" battery on the new S/X. The only evidence i had of its existence was a year before production start in the form of a pic off'f the prototype line where they we're doing LV integration with the PCS
And than i had to search through patents and talk to a bunch of ppl to figure out what was going on.

This is absolutely the same issue I have with some of my other automations not firing, the state changes, but somehow doesn't register despite showing in the history and interface.

They can increase the ride height, which will reduce porpoising, or reduce downforce/ reduce speed (at certain tracks they won't reach as high speed)

So atxbyea sorry for asking that many questions.. I now successfully ssh'd into my machine and "cd'd" into the correct directory and followed it with the "load -source ..." I can see that it requested the file and the terminal says "Command Completed" which is wrong because it should say "Command spawned" (at least thats what the instructions say)
