When I worked IT for a smal county, we had to block streaming services during winter olympics, there was not enough bandwidth for folks to work.
So we made a deal with the local cinema that got a dedicated internet connection and streamed it on the big screen so folks could bring their laptops and sit there and work

is there going to be much of a difference with me replacing my failed UHS-1 sdcard with a USB- 3 SSD? I'm on a Pi4. From what I'm reading online, HA isn't read/write intensive so the speed incase from sdcard -> sdd won't make much of a difference, so is the main attraction just reliability?

I always had random hang-ups with the SD card. Performance was never an issue, but sometimes it would just have a stroke for like 15 seconds and no devices would load the UI, automations would delay, etc.

Tbh ELV annoys me more - the realative nature of it. Low voltage in my mind should mean ELV, the use of extra, Super mega etc. Is frustrating. HV should be anything dangerous, anything higher should be 'x' kV and defined as such. My rational for this is people have been hurt from interpretating low voltage as safe in the wrong contexts.
