I would help by taping over the fans vents, I got a gold star for staying back once recess to tape over the fan vents.

@shy comet i don't think electric cost would be that much different between size of pools unless you were comparing an Olympic pool or something. The only real difference between the option of allowing the pool to automatically circulate various times of the day which is optional and something I think abovve ground pool owners don't generally do

@forest edge for pools you go by how much water the pool can handle. Mine is about 7k gallons and according to intex i only need to run it for 4 hours a day...Intex sells above ground pools that require 10 hours a day
then tack on heated pool for those owners too which i have heard some can take hours to heat up
