Mine is literally using the wires to hold it up haha.
Either the bulb or the led controller. Bulbs obviously have it all built in.
Then you get a gateway. If you use their one then you are limited to 4 groups of lights. But make your own with a 8266 and you can have unlimited. But gateway is SUPER easy to make and like I said since it doesnt need to be near the lights you can hide away your custom hack together things where they cant be seen while the pretty discrete controller is close to the lights.

DAE wonder what they will do if they ever move to a new house? Do I de-smart my house and remove or leave the smart devices in their fallback operation (ie., a smart light switch with no hub). Or, provide the hub and an instruction booklet? Maybe this is something that could be negotiated with the home owner.
Many smart home devices and configurations take an understanding that the average home-buyer may not have or even appreciate. Not something i need to worry about anytime soon - but, i do try to make things i add easily removable - or able to run properly without a hub.

So first, lets make one thing clear. I really don't agree with what sweden have done. But we're actually doing things
so. secondly, how each country count deaths vary a lot and the actuall count will be corrected later on. Just look at china that bumped the count with 1300 deaths in one day

thirdly. We were "unlucky" (this is one thing I don't agree with and thing we fucked up majorly) and had several home for the elderly getting covid. Out stats for them are a huge cause of our deaths.
Just looking at the stats we have up towards 10x as many deaths per capita as finland, and many x the number of deaths as denmark/norway. The people that have died here are to a great extend elderly. It's impossible to say how many will die over the course of a few months in denmark/norway if they're "unlucky" and get more elderly infected as well
Now to what we've actually done. We've not actually locked anything down hard. I.e. you're not forced to be at home. BUT you're expected to work from home if at all possible. Stockholm had ~60% people working from home last few weeks. Restaurants and other establishments are allowed to stay open as long as they keep to the rules, you're to be served at your table, tables are to be far apart and so on.
Universities and upper schools have been closed, all education where the students can reasonably actually study from home
Gyms, and other sport facilities are staying closed (not because they're forced but because they're expected).
And we've limited crowds to 50 people (I think)

I went to a NUC, I am glad I did. My same system ran very efficiently on a Pi 3. Where I notice a difference is in restarts, which are irrelevant at this stage, because my zwave network takes the same amount of time to restart. Hopefully that will change with zwave not needing to be restarted.
I also noticed a reduction is minor error messages
I guess what I am saying is, a pi will work fine but if you think you are going to build on your environment, just get something beefier now.

yes but you can create efi vms in proxmox with qcow2 disks... but I can't seem to find the created qcow2 in the FS on lvm
and proxmox is basically just kvm with a web gui i believe
