I just wanted to say that I am kicking myself for not trying out telegram sooner as a notification platform. I'm currently using a telegram bot add-on inside of node red and the ease of use of this thing to create surprisingly complicated things is great. I highly highly recommend it and wish I would have discovered this sooner.

I've been wanting the Android home assistant app to support notification categories for so long because I wanted to have this functionality, that was how I discovered telegram as an option, but so much extra functionality also exists like simplistic commands and notifications with response commands and it's all just so easy compared to any other notification platform I've used so far like HTML5 and Discord
Though, so far that's only with text notifications. I haven't attempted to do anything with pictures or videos or other attachments yet

Considering I ended up buying 4 of them. I'd say I enjoy it P good. I rather enjoy having a silent way of knowing I have a phone call or text. On the newer models it's fun to shout at my watch to send a text.

I only use each watch one week of the month
and they stay turned off between usages.

I also have one of the polished silver ones (RARE) that were supposed to be released with the third Kickstarter but since that Kickstarter didn't happen they were sold off on Amazon and maybe other places. It even says KS3 on the back
But I dropped it too many times and the back button stopped working so I might just H A R V E S T the battery and put it in my black one
