@warm helm I was a semi truck driver and have driven all over the entire USA. I've been in Phoenix in August when temps were low 120s. Until you've been in an area with these temps while having maximum humidity, you DO NOT understand. In 120F in Arizona, I can walk half a mile and MAYBE have a little sweat in certain places. It evaporates quickly. Try that over here, and I'd be drowning in my own sweat. It doesn't evaporate. It accumulates. Just walking from the shop to my car at work, I need to use a bath towel to dry off once I get in it.

I'm currently running proxmox, with an ARR suite, jellyfin, HAOS and an SMB share, this was my first foray into homelabbing and my first media server, it had a 16TB Drive in it which is approaching full; realising that I'm slowly approaching filling that drive I was gonna drop another one in and realised that this smb container would have to be rebuilt to do that cuz it's currently set up to expect a solo drive, so just been looking at ways to get the drives together in an expandable raid - the HAOS replacing the SMB Container wasn't too serious a thought but I just realised 'the tools are kiiiiiiiiinda there'

It's a bit awkward cuz moneys so tight for me right now (should be better later in the year), but I been exploring an actual physical NAS separate from the array, truenas, re-creating the container I have, and all sorts of options (it's not a burning emergency)
