CA at least in my county the appeal process is efficient and transparent (I used it just once, a long time ago), but not helpful when the assessed value is far below market. You're not going to appeal for a higher assessment. What we do have is a limit on how much the assessment can go up per year, regardless of what the market has done.

I do have temp sensors at almost all faucets. Mmwave sensors detecting if someone is appoacing the area and kicks in the recirculation system. I do have hot water output temp monitored but that's just for eye candy. Recirculation only kicks in and preheats if that specific faucet is about to be opened. Unpair the motion sensor and then pair it to the nearest router. Don’t just do the “Permit Join (all)”. The reason you are having issues with it is that it’s paired directly with the coordinator. Aqara sensors HATE that.

From experience, I’ll 100% say that’s wrong.

I have 48 Aqara devices (switches, sensors, curtain motors, etc). Not a single one is paired to the coordinator. They all go through ThirdReality plugs. Zero issues here except for my t/h sensors need to have their button pressed if the power goes out.

LOL that's why we use routing devices 😉 But, generally, the lower range is what allows for 2-5 year battery life as well. I'm interested to see some long term results from ZWLR though.

Plus, range isn't that bad here. I have a sensor in my mailbox that's about 75(ish) feet line of sight from the nearest router. Works perfectly.

Ignore the LQI numbers. They are meaningless and point in time. If the device works, awesome. If it is dropping off or missing commands, then the LQI might matter.

I have some devices that have a LQI of 10 and they respond and work perfectly.
