But if you stall with potato mines early game you can just rush cattails and then focus on building up sun production

Then put the front gloom shrooms on the middle rows and that will be more than enough to let you continue setting up without any issues or having to waste sun on early game stuff

After consideration, I agree that SCP-SL is a niche game. However, that necessarily doesn't mean that the people playing it have poor social skills. I would argue the opposite, since a majority of the games core enjoyment comes from the social and spontaneous nature of Local Proximity chat, and the fact that players are often cycled through multiple teams and objectives in even a single round means that communication skills are an absolute advantage and almost necessity to enjoy the game and succeed.
I would argue that of the various niche genres on the market, SCP-SL falls under a much more social category of game compared to say, dating sims or colony management games. SCP-SL is a Multiplayer, role based, social FPS.

I do agree that a lot of men with poor social skills would likely be happier if they had female attention and connection in their life, however I don't believe that lack of social skills is the driving factor for someone being, for lack of a better word, an asshole to a female gamer due to them being simply female.

Partially this is true. But when you bring any of these people into real life they have a big difficulty genuinely socializing. The "socializing" in this game is generally most people putting up a mask, using humor they don't even like to please people who don't like that humor neither. But it is just a cycle of people-pleasing to be included.

Which is where I believe the misogyny comes from. These people have seen some edgy dude say something, so they want to be a people pleaser, join in, and then it becomes cool to hate on the gender. It's the same for how SL players react to kids in their lobby -- some kids genuinely do nothing but just because of their "squeaky voice" and this deep desire of SL to be cool, superior, they will be hated on for something they can't control, because they see it as "morally correct" to do so.

While I'm mostly speculating (and to be honest, I'm definitely speaking from experience, but I have no concrete proof), the fact that this game is social-heavy is the reason that these people are talking to nobody. They don't socialize in real life and escape to Discord and this game to actually get their dose and actually live.
