Previous attempts to explain the storm have been cautious, with a variety of explanations ranging from the physical consequences of the comet's changing orbit to secret scientific experiments. Some leading biologists have suggested that "Combine" is a new species that continues to emerge as a result of the storm, and that it is lethally aggressive.

The director of a little-known research facility in New Mexico, Dr Wallace Breen, contacted the Secretary-General of the United Nations and claimed to know how to communicate with alien civilizations. The U.N. immediately gives Breen carte blanche to negotiate peace at all costs.

After he accepts the mission to surrender, the battle, which has affected all of humanity, finally stops.

Medkits work as well, besides not having a viewmodel which right now i have no plans of doing viewmodels for non firearms or throwables.
