If you miss Vanced, follow the guide on how to install ReVanced without rooting and you won't miss it anymore. It's on the ReVanced subreddit and discord, it's pretty idiot proof. You need a slightly older YouTube APK which they provide a link to as well as MicroG. Then tweak to your liking
You can't patch Vanced to work with it as it fundamentally is a years old version of YouTube and it's a miracle it worked this long

@novel hinge so I did just experience a bug, it would let me open the app, but not move anything around or access anything, but I was able to close it and stuff so it didn't brick my phone or anything
I deleted the vanced manager and app and reinstalled and it's working good, but i had to do it twice

Hey guys I just find a solution ... it was giving me the error as you all.. now ...
Also had the error message preventing watching videos for me as well and it went back to normal (Like the usual working Vanced) 2 times now
- The phone in question has WiFi always turned on and is connected to the Internet 24/7
- If I leave the house and come back home, (Effectively disconnecting from my WiFi for a brief period) the error message comes back again
- I dont watch YT videos on phone often only when I feel like it but already laying in bed (Not on my desktop) So, I tap "Vanced" forgetting its supposedly not working anymore but it did work anyway (2 Times)
My entertainment on mobile is mostly Games/Twitch so I don't get to tap "Vanced" as often

Kind of same but have you check your download box for offline viewing. I believe that is the solution. I tried multiple times and test it. I delete an amount of 1 hour video from my offline videos, 45 and below is fine. I think it won't work because the length of the video you download from was too long and will no longer work properly. Try this particular option delete your photos, and try maintain with a red storage. I assumed it could be because the app is attach to your phone.

Ok, I kind off change a little info. I think you need to delete your offline downloads first all of it. 1 hour/4hrs videos won't work unless you free up some space.

Just today, ReVanced v18.15.40 started giving me an indefinite loading spinning thing when I was watching a video for about a minute or when I fast-forwarded to a later timestamp. Maybe it's temporary, I'll have to wait and see.

You need to press more details and allow it. Play protect checks hashes of files to what it thinks are valid. Its not a real antivirus for your phone. It just tries to block fake apps.
