So I found this out just now
My Vanced stopped working and wouldn't play any videos, then I switched to another account and it worked just fine, then around 10 minutes later I switched back to my main account and it worked just fine
My friend who also got this tried uninstalling it, clear clech and restarting his phone and none worked. He did the thing I told him the thing method that worked for me and proceeded to add a new account and switch. Within 5 minutes it worked again
I didn't have to install nor do anything. I just simply switched accounts

But if you're interested generally, working in an MSP environment is great, you get exposure to multiple aspects of the IT world

Alot of companies do that because it's easier than hiring a internal IT guy
In my time, I've done lvl1 support (stuff like office365 and PBX phone system provisioning and maintenance) to doing lvl 2 (fixing broken shit, active directory and virtual machines) to doing structured cabling (laying and installing office network cabling and cable rack management)
The joys of laying and patching an office with over 200 wall ports
I went for the MSP route because like yourself I had a general enjoyment for tech and it's business applications
Didn't want to hamfist myself into a specific area
Persue a career if you can man, I'm telling you now, half of being a good IT guy is knowing how to find your answer, you may not know everything, but you know how to find the answer using the internet
A degree in googling if you will
Then eventually you just get a feel for it
You're already half way there in my mind

Found a fix that helped??? Doesnt involves logging out/in
- uninstall yt vanced
- Enables og youtube and update the app through google store
- Disable og youtube again and reinstall yt vanced
I think it still considers the og youtube in the system as main version so it's??? Confusing the system but also me

So far making new google accounts from the vanced app and linking it to nothing else is letting it work for me right now i'm using vanced on my phone having music play in the background. They caught onto me after a few days and blocked that account but then I made another and it's working again. Fuck you corporate bastards I will get my free music and I will make and delete as many accounts as I need to 🤬

So I logged out of thrm completely and used vanced without any account. But that stopped working too yesterday. However today one of my two accounts is working again. So some days I don't watch YT at all because I refuse to be ad junky and then it miracluously fixes itself the next day. Might be a win-win to take a break from the screen 😆

So I was having the same problems as everyone else and simply clicked on the following link and installed revanced. I didn't have to uninstall anything I literally clicked on the link downloaded revanced it asked me whether to open it or not I said yes and it installed then I clicked on open and everything's fine now. I clicked on the first video that came up when revance opened and all is good It's playing with no issue.

Agreed. Remove all instances of vanced or revanced. Then shut down your phone ie power off. Then start up your phone from scratch and install revanced from the link above.
