Hey yeah we're aware of Android being a little behind on picking up yesterday's client update π I think it's slowly starting to appear for people. Right now I recommend just keeping checking playstore for the update while we see if there's anything we can do on our end

Anyone know if theyre refunding unused tokens or all tokens bought for this pet update?
The patch notes say they will refund any reclaim tokens you bought. So ones from dupes arent gunna count.
It being manual means you dont instantly get money in your account. They have a guy checking people one by one.
I think it's only unused token purchased with GP but I could be wrong

Is anyone else getting an extreme amount of audio popping and stuttering at Hueycoatl after the this morning's update on the new official client? If I have area sounds on getting within range of the mountain while there's fighting going on is causing my CPU usage to spike up to like 45%.

For the future update idea of having an icon to show you're on mobile i think its a great idea, I've been suggesting it for years. Also i think it would be really neat if we could show off our character type as well in the context menu that way ppl can stop naming their chars "Gim" or "hc" etc

the entire problem is lazy folks don't want to bring 4-8-way melee switches for chally/scythe or change up their strategy
they wanted to not charge beam tank, they didnt want to bring masori for non-car phase
they didn't want to bp reset off of trees or grubs
It didn't help that genomemonkey was raging while doing some dumb setup trying to complete multiple CAs and it wasn't working out, so reddit piled on that, similar to how faux and sick nerd said dumb shit back then and jagex acted on it

yeah if youre going to do the melee ca with a shield you probably will want an inq mace with inq set, i did melee ca with defender emberlight and it still felt meh

I just had an idea that could be a really cool suggestion. With Sailing coming in the future a minigame to make crafting cannonballs faster would be really awesome and potentially really cool/fun content.

Okay, so while the pet change was good, I still think there should be an option to have pets go to Gravestone and let the player pay 100k for it, which restores the gp sink.
Not everyone wants to go back to Probita, even if it's free, and 100k is something I'd be willing to pay for the convenience of it being in gravestone

In other games I know of, clans need actual item resources for upkeep or upgrades. If we had a clan expansion then it might make sense for a one way bank (clan members can deposit but only higher rank can withdraw for clan upgrades). But I dont think an item bank would make sense without that.

I still think Clan POH + needing consistent sinks would be a fantastic addition
We already have free pools via Ferox, a clan pool costing 200m initially + constant maintenance charges would be very balanced

Can we please get an official confirmation regarding the Heron drop rate. @winter hearth confirmed two and a half month ago that shark lure would make it easier to get Heron (#game-update message), specifically stating the denominator would be smaller, meanwhile Arcane is in dms saying it reduces the drop rate by 6x while using shark lure, making the pet more rare (#740356256727957554 message, imgur for those not in petcord: https://i.imgur.com/7tesLGk.jpeg). Quite the difference between one saying the drop rate is 1/<80k and the other saying itβs 1/480k, both seemingly being from official sources. @fading token, would you be able to ping someone whoβd know? As I have no idea whoβs on the developer team, which is who you told me to get on contact with last time this was brought up.

Would appear there was a miscommunication initially. Intended behaviour is that the pet is less common with more shark lures, the intent being 'let's not make shark lures busted for pet hunting'. That'd be our bad on the initial chatter

The biggest mistake of shark lures is that theyβre not really food worth fishing in the first place

But like 99% of the time I would rather use karambwans or brews over sharks and thatβs not even considering the fact that mantas and anglers exist
Even on an iron I would usually rather go fish karambwanji and karambwans and cook those before I world use cooked sharks that I already have in the bank

You'd rather be brewed down but do a few low stat hits

So potion - 2 ticks to attack - potion - 2 ticks to attack - repeat etc
You're not supposed to brew at all during the fight.
If you have to brew, brew on shield phase or orb phase if it's not likely to die.
ya its just generally if you do have to brew you can keep attacking
definitely try not to miss attacks

because they said they would give the option to separate your max cape with quiver and infernal cape
but they never confirmed if you will get the max cape back
in that particular scenerio
since it no longer serves the purpose of the max cape but is just cosmetic
for how many max cape variants there are to buy, im going to really doubt they just poof the max cape when "disassembling"
also going to doubt anyone will actually struggle to have the money to rebuy the capes they disassemble if they do

max capes don't really cost that much, and you'd only really need to revert a few of them, because a lot of the items are cheap to get again (e.g., imbued mage capes) if you really don't want to pay the 2.2m for another max cape
basically you'd just revert inferno/quiver

Hours to complete is so high because there's so many uniques, and each of them is quite useful
12 drops for CoX
7 for ToA
7 for ToB
Adding more rewards scales completion rates a LOT since chances of dupes increases with each extra unique on the table
