I have a bot that dishes out "inactive" roles if they didn't spend 1hr in vc in last 30 days. another 30 days and they're booted. Fair or tyranny?

Ooooh, if voice chat activity is super important to your clan I think it's fine. We'd never impose a vc activity rule as not everyone feels comfortable in there. But, we have been doing in game inativity purges after a month of not logging in. However, we don't remove from discord, just set them to guest

We do something similar, but we just set them to inactive after 60 days or less than 3 messages & the bot moves them into an inactive channel. They can just simply re-apply when they're able to be active! We are Discord activity only, though, and no VC as we have a lot of members who don't really VC. It's really about what works best for you

If a user is looking at the thread channel and they (the user) haven't changed how sorting works for it it will put your post at the top until someone else does the same thing.

It basically just bring your post at the top so people looking for a clan will see your thread before others that havent been bumped recently.

Just to clarify, its a user setting with a thread default. You don't really get a choice if someone has changed it and there wouldn't be a way to know unless they told you.

That said, it's highly unlikely people would have modified it.
