Most social clans set a lower minimum requirement from what I've seen. But they do it because there's a ton of fake accounts as well as people who are just starting and then never play. It kind of cements in more of "an actual dedicated player" so it doesn't end up being a lot more work for someone who stops at like 500 total level lol
But not all clans do it for that reason, and many have without too!

afaik a lot of clans have made their own discord bots to track time in clan, ranks, etc. If you can't make discord bots yourself (or someone in your clan) an alternative is making a google spreadsheet for staff to edit that tracks all the info you want, but it's a lot of manual work still

ive just lowered the requirements, it was 100cmb, i changed it to 70 cmbt 1k total, the guys in here do all raids, including teach and bosses, the main focus is a friendly atmosphere, no bullying or toxic behaviour

I'd honestly suggest putting in more effort into your recruitment thread, it's very minimal compared to other clans. I'd recommend looking at the other clans in there to get an idea of how advertisement posts usually look like and then draft your own based on that

Do you add in a time in clan aspect too, or is it all events?
You can't have one without the other. So take someone who's been "lurking" for 6 months and has maybe been to 2 events. That individual can't be the same rank as a member who has also been in the clan for 6 months but has attended 12-20 events. On the flip side, someone who’s been to a ton of events also can’t just “speed-run” their way up the ranks if they haven’t been in the clan long enough. We host multiple events per week accross all time-zones so hitting those event totals are more than realistic for those who get involved.
Every clan sets different standards, but I strongly believe when you hand out rank-ups purely on time alone, you run the risk of lessening the incentive to participate. This makes it harder on staff when doing inactivitvity sweeps to seperate who genuinely wants to engage with the community and who is idling in the background without contributing in any way
