Update on this- the song is done (not recorded won’t be for a while ima be away from my guitar for like weeks) I’m probably gonna change the name to ‘Contrary’- and I have to figure out how to overlay my voice cause normally I just do a take and boom done but they literally sing over eachother so I get to figure out that and harmonies- anyways the bridge and ending are about Emma and Albert talks about her blood (being his and Ida’s) and that being what makes Emma deserving of continuing his legacy or whatever other creepy shit he’s got going on and later Ida says she doesn’t ’care what her blood is’ because even if Emma’s been poisoned by Albert’s blood specifically (cause she was married into the family anyway so it’s more a metaphorical f-u to Albert than anything else) and despite the fact she did not want or have a say in Emma’s creation she knew it what happen- she’s come to terms with it- and she is willing to help her if need be
