im trying to set up a daylight sensor to tell me when i can sleep while im underground. its a very simple setup, just a single line of redstone between the daylight sensor and the redstone lamp

this is what i had before. it seems to be the perfect setup

but i wanted to put it one block lower so i could hide it in the floor

it seems like the one-block-lower messes with the signal thingy? like its no longer the perfect length bc its one block lower??

got an idea that most subclasses can't complete? take an existing subclass and reflavor it. Happy-go-lucky bard sounds like College of Valor or College of Glamor, and you could reflavor it as their magic coming from optimism and positivity, with Valor being determined while glamor is fantastic. It is up to you and your DM to work out, but be sure to keep this in mind at least.
