i could only find one thing in the house with a diamond pattern and it was the bottom of a bread tin so i used that to indent the clay before cutting.. it would help a lot to get all the diamonds roughly the same

i hit a snag can't afford any kind of phone holder and light for the stop motion bit so idk how i'm going to rig that up

its not that easy to suspend a phone face first above a scene without casting shadows

going to have to try make some kind of c stand out of wood and use gaffer tape for the phone and torches or something idk ugh.. i saw ppl use cardboard to hold the phone on the ceiling but the scene is so small i think it will go blurry if i have to crop it too much.. also im terrified if it drops on the models and squashed them
