GM’d for the first time ever with RL Untold, and hoo boy my players were wild

Some highlights:

||Two of them tried drinking the acid outright. I made up that they somehow didn’t die and nobody questioned it.

They tried using the flesh on the thumb scanner; not the hand, the flesh. I decided to make them squirm a bit by describing the flesh as feeling a bit like slime. They were appropriately grossed out. Made even funnier by how someone made a reference to Danganronpa when they got the kitchen cooler open and when it turned out to be flesh said something along the lines of “I was kidding!”

They decided among themselves who was crawling through the vent. Some fun was had over them volunteering someone else in the group.

The hand was named Steve. Steve made friends with one of them and rode around on their shoulder.

Someone spent 5 minutes spinning in the office chair while the others watched.

Someone was unofficially dubbed the vent peeker because they were the tallest of the group. Among Us jokes made throughout the whole game.

Player: “So what were the glowing eyes?”

Me: (proceeds to Rick Roll them before showing them the Corrupted Soul in the Paradox mini movie)||

I managed to do it from my Win7 old machine, so any PC or laptop could do. Keep in mind that as a GM you are constantly sharing assets lile cards, while the players need a place to theorise on the puzzles freely. As such, it would turn into a hastle on mobile (mostly for the GM). Players can in theory play on phone, but the mic quality/signal issues might compromise your collaboration. Just my two cents.

If everyone starts talking about "not having a room for certain language" and posting any languages they wish, then soon it will be out of control. Also they are looking into having a Spanish mod so sooner than later (hopefully) there will be a space for Spanish speaking people.
