@next oasis ROF and recoil certainly do matter. BAR and STG have the same damage profile it seems. Whereas the STG is much easier to spray because recoil is lower and ROF is higher. This makes the STG more effective and more deadly, and that's not mentioning the suppression effects either. Also, the MG42 with it's very high ROF and low recoil makes it easier to engage moving targets than the DP since one can easily cover all possible target leads on a moving target in the time that a player is exposed for.

The fire rate is a trivial difference considering it only takes 1 to 2 shots for any of the lmgs, and all of them can get that many shots off within a second

The bar for mg should still get bipod though
It would make suppressing locations and using it as a suppression device much better

The game has been at the point where if you're shooting full auto at a target, you are just wasting ammo and nothing more. There is zero reason the full auto in this game, just point click once and be done with it, that's all the game asks of the player, anything more is unnecessary

If you are trying to destroy tanks with artillery you are doing it wrong because it takes a direct hit to do hull damage, takes 2 hits at least to destroy a medium or heavy, and it's a 20 meter spread on arty.
It's just not an efficient use of munitions.

so a quick tip is that each faction (Soviets, Germans, and the US) all have different styles? of play. The Germans gun wise don't have many semi-automatic weapons, but what automatic weapons they do have, especially their LMG's usually shred enemies with their higher fire rate then the US and Soviet counterparts, meanwhile the US are more automatic weapon based. Soviets I know nothing about yet.

That isn't really a thing because most servers are naturally going to populate to full once they hit 40-60 people, try looking for a server with player numbers in that range and chances are it will fill up shortly.

You can do it in #pc-feedback but they're well aware of the desire for free look, but they've stated it's a bandwidth issue because now the server has to track the position of every player's head and send it back out to other players so you can see where people are looking.

Yeah it's a known issue with vivox, you can try disconnecting and reconnecting in the audio options, that fixes it rarely sadly the best way to fix it is to restart the game

Just depends on if you like the uniforms or not.
You can feel like a ninja turtle with the soviet armored one, also be aware that there are in game level restrictions for cosmetics, so just because you buy something doesn't mean you'll be able to use it right away.

I’ve seen women playing before with mics and they are treated the same as men. Same goes for accents and race. The community is good when it comes to not being toxic as those players get bored fast. I would recommend using a microphone though.

You can tell community servers based off the name.
Places like NPA or GLOW are going to shut down harassment and you can contact the admins in game with !admin <playername> <whatever bullshit they're up to> in the text chat.

as an engineer is it ok to spawn a node in the back like near hq
as an engineer you have exactly two methods to get your nodes down.
- You ask commander to supply drop right in the back of HQ, that only lets you build 2/3 nodes but it is the safest method
- You ask for supply truck, drive to the edge of grid 2 and 3, drop supplies in grid 3 and build the nodes in grid 2.
This is very important because if u lose the sector u wont lose your nodes
number one rule tho, is dont be an idiot and place your nodes anywhere near the strong point of any cap zone, and dont use the first supply truck at the start of matches to build your nodes - that one is reserved for the first garry
