Almost every community server got a discord link in their info. Join the discords of servers you like to play on and talk to people/join voice channels and help seed the server, great way to find people to play with

Yeah I knew going in that HLL is focused more on team play so I do have one. And am willing to overcome my severe anxiety for it.

You will do fine, join a squad in the game communicate with your teammates and listen. Play all the spots and settle on your favorites. Also you can join a clan to really bump up your skills. Play in the 79th Infantry newcomers welcome and D-Day 247 newcomers welcome.

I wonder how viable it is to be a non-combat role with engineer or medic. With Battlefield you can't really not also be super aggressive. But it seems like it's more expansive here. Ofc I could be wrong.

A lot of people will say medic isn't, but can be useful at times. Engineer is usually to build nodes, build barricades/structures, put down AP/AT mines, repair tanks (if you go with them) or satchel build.

Hi is there any shooter game which has a pvp game mode where each team has atleast 10 or more players? playing that pvp mode each time we get rewards which we can use to unlock/upgrade units or skills or weapons or litle bit of stats etc and these progressions are persistant which we can carry for next pvp battles. Also during that pvp match our gears/powers/stats/skills must not be equalized and higher stat geared players should do more damage or atleast little bit advantage than lower stat geared players.

Overview: yes, it's 50v50.
PVP: Squads are 2 to 6 players (2 for recon, 3 for tank, 6 for infantry), still 50v50.
Rewards: True, although I'm not sure the whole "higher damage or extended range" unless they're saying like Level 3 loadout has more damage than level 1 depending on the gun?
Persistence: Yup.
No equalization: I'm not sure on how matchmaking works in like console, but otherwise it's not exactly like... balanced automatically. Joining the server, you pick one side or the other.

That is not true. Yes higher level classes get “better” loadouts but each gun is lethal

The “higher DPS” might be the AI saying that higher level loadouts get more automatic and semi-automatic rifles

Frankly, AI is a good tool, but doesn't mean it's 100% accurate.

@boreal pivot i can say that there is many problems with people of epic games, my groups game night was last night and every single person on epic couldn't play due to the server not showing up or showing offline and/or getting a fatal error while trying to fix it. Was about 20 people that couldn't join.

Yeah, many servers are impacted. You need to contact your server provider, they need to do something on their end to fix it

What do your mean all servers? Our S3 was visible for Epic/Gamepass since the hotfix update. Our S1 & S2 weren't, S1 is fixed now and S2 will hopefully be fixed soon, just stuck with the server provider needing to do the fix and dragging their feet.

Using a medium tank?

Specifically in these two spots (please generalize onto other tanks I know this is a M4 Sherman)

3 for a medium tank with german anti tank rocket. 3 shots if you damage the hull every time. Heavy is 4 shots to the side or rear if you are using german antitank. US antitank rockets can only penetrqte the rear of mediums and heavies

whoops im stupid, to kill a light is one shot with a medium if you shoot the hull. Two shots on a medium, the two spots you circled are 2 shots. Heavies can only be damaged by mediums from the side and rear, but it is 2 shots

there's 2 bombing runs. Precision strike, which almost always kills a medium, and often kills a heavy tank. It looks like one small plane coming in fast, or two of them, it sounds like that too (the german one has the stuka noise). There's the other bombing run which is a big bomber high up in the sky that drops a line of about 15 ish bombs, that can kill tanks, the bigger your tank is the harder it is for those bombs to kill you. Usually they take out your tracks though

How do I report this bug? I was surrounded in the attic and I was waiting for people to come up the stairs and I was able to see the faint white outline of players before they entered my line of sight. I am in no way using any software or anything to cheat, I'm on PS5 and this is the first time I've noticed this. This seems like a major bug

How to ban someone who’s hacking

If official, report to their platform (Steam, Epic, Xbox, etc). If community, report them to the communities discord. Sometimes !admin works

On a community server you can get a legitimate cheater banned in about 5 minutes if you join their discord VC and raise a red flag

Dangerous play though, there’s a good chance you are just bad and alerting them to one of their better competitive players, and you will get clowned

You aren’t going to be an elite shooter, thats for sure, but if there was a fps for you to play and still be a very valuable contributor it would be HLL imo.

There is a bunch to this game that isn’t about pure kills.

Teams always need players that focus on being good team players. Support, engineer artillery and as mentioned tanking are all options.

As well as getting good at the mg role if you want focus on KD.

Just be aware that this game has a steep steep learning curve, so you are gonna get smashed when you start no matter what so don’t just think its using a controller.

You might start with like 3 kills 30 deaths quite easily.

Put them as far back as you can, nodes get destroyed when the enemy get a hold of a sector. But beware enemy Recon always follow the second line up and down to search for nodes. Its very easy destroyed if you put it right there.. Try to hide it best you can, but if its a good enemy recon it doesnt matter, be ready to rebuild during the match 🙂

Also worth mentioning that if you're going to use a supply truck for your nodes, you'll have to place your supplies on the third column of the grid (C) since you can't place them any closer. However, you can place them just on the line so you can build your nodes in B. Building nodes on B prevents them from being automatically destroyed when the enemy captures any point.

Of course they'll get destroyed if they capture your last point but that also means that you've lost so it doesn't really matter.

You should play support, anti-tank or non-US engineer instead if it's available. Same rifle but many powerful and absolutely necessary items that the team needs.

It's only two reconnaissance squads per team. The sniper role has a scoped rifle that oneshots no matter the range, so it's usually really hard to get to play that role. Also, reconnaissance squads have several roles rather than just sniping. I'd suggest starting with other roles and professing into the game before you pick any recon squad role

officer is pretty easy to pick up imo if you have a mic and don't get involved with command chat (many officers aren't). just place outposts closer to the enemy objective than the garrisons and keep in mind that your outpost will be destroyed if friendly territory turns to enemy territory. the only reason I don't play officer more is because command chat gets chaotic

you will need a friend or gaming buddy to get any experience as sniper, if you create a recon unit you have to be observer and 99% of the time people create locked recon units so that they can give sniper to their friend. being a tanker is a completely different gameplay than infantry in my opinion and if you want to do that you should just start playing it and look up tanker guides

btw if the servers are full, just keep refreshing every couple seconds and join the queue when there's a spot. takes a couple minutes

You can kind of assume players will attack your defensive point in a fairly direct manner for a bit. So just draw a straight line from HQs through to your point and they'll probably be coming from that direction. Once it looks like people are being farmed there, they will generally immediately look to flank wider.

It's mostly experience on the smaller scale, but just assume people are attacking in the quickest way they can without dying loads and you'll work it out from there
