Go to easyanticheat folder and try running the easyanticheat_EOS_setup.exe by Right clicking on it and picking Run as Administrator. Then test game

Yeah it's strange, but it's normal for that.. I think a few people have fixed it with EAC reinstalling/repairing, maybe reboot the PC and test to see if anything changed?

Sooo basically two sides - Allies vs Axis. You have 4 different main roles - Commander, Infantry, Tank, and Recon. Infantry has a bunch of different classes like Assault, Engineer, Support, Rifleman, Automatic Rifleman, Machine Gunner, and Antitank (I think that's everyone?). Tank is Tank commander and tank crewman. Recon is Spotter and Sniper.

I'd suggest starting with Rifleman, ASsault or Automatic rifleman to get use to the game with a higher level squad lead. You join an infantry squad with the arrow on the right.

You spawn at HQ garrison at the start, but as you play you spawn at different garrisons on the map (40 second cool down) or an outpost (OP) (20 second cool down) your squad lead can put down.

Your choice if you wish you join a clan ( #pc-divisions-recruitment has clan ads) , otherwise you can soloqueue or find folks to play with in #pc-looking-for-unit

If it's warfare, you fight over a mid point while you have 2 sides on yours and 2 sides on the other. Once mid point is captured by someone, you can defend a point and attack a point. If it's Offensive or Defensive, you play only one side. Warfare is won with 3 or more points held by the end (if you capture all 5 it ends) and Offensive is won if Offense takes all 5 points or defense defends any point fully.

I mean to learn, I'd say Warfare so you see both sides, but offense/defense is also good since you concentrate on one thing... push or defend.

There are more warefare usually, but some servers have offensive only maps.

We've all been there

I think I stopped playing for months after I first started playing because it made no sense to me

ok so at the start of the match you wanna place nodes, the easiest way is finding the nearest supply truck, drive it and pass the red line or first sector, drop the supplies as close as you can like the circle, get back behind the line again at the square and build the 3 nodes,

why do we do this? if enemies capture the second point near your hq your nodes are gone

the other way is rather long and annoying,

go support, drop one crate, switch back to engineer, build man power node, switch to support again and repeat for the 3 nodes, build manpower first it makes the supply regen shorter

or just do it once and ask the commander to drop you a supply crate, you need 150 supplies for all 3 nodes

thats your MAIN role as an engineer these nodes are the most important, secondary roles you can repair friendly tanks but usually the tank crew has a repair kit, place mines with the first loadout or use the second load out it has a satchel but you can not build or repair

satchels are used to blow up enemy tanks, or blow up people inside buildings, a garrison on the other side of the wall you cant get etc

that's briefly what you can do

building bunkers and stuff isnt very common on casual servers

Ideally you should use HDDs for file storage primarily these days (or for older games). I recommend even having your C drive for just Windows, and drivers as an SSD, and having a separate SSD for games if you can (D or another letter drive) in general, but that's just me.

Oh nice! I would say that tanking isn't the easiest role to take up on your first day - not impossible of course!

I'd suggest finding a squad with comms and trying out rifleman or medic. You'll slowly get a feel for the maps you play as infantry and it will help you tank in future

Regarding markers and such (as infantry or armor), hold down the Right arrow on your d-pad to refresh the map markers placed by the officers/squad

I had a great experience with the powerbits #2 server but then a couple hours later when I logged back on it was total silence and no communication. It's real luck of the draw. I would actually just suggest diving into it headfirst and try out different servers and squads until you find some people who will chat and help you out. Biggest thing you can do is when you join just say hey to the squad and be active on the mic at local and squad level, eventually people will start joining in.

They each have their own rule sets (usually quite similar) which can be read in-game. They're simple to follow.

Yeah, this is the right chat.
If you want to play with someone from discord. The easiest way would be to friend each other on Steam sharing your invite codes via Direct messages (DM's). Then, you can simply both hop on a call or in a voice channel and discuss which server you're joining and join it together, alternatively, you can have one person join the server you plan on playing and then just have the other person join via STEAM friends list.

Foliage does affect foliage density and draw distances so that's definitely an advantage - on some maps more than others. It's quite bad on Mortain. On most maps it's mostly just grass and tiny plants afaik.

View Distance is both an advantage and disadvantage. Hedgerows and the like will disappear eventually, but you still can't shoot through them, nor see where they start or end. Which can be quite annoying when tanking. You might see enemy tanks sooner. But you never know if they're (partially) behind cover or not

There’s a very healthy playerbase on console but just know the games quality has devolved quite heavily in both players and the game itself. You get into a match and you’ll see 10 bugs in 5 minutes and most people don’t bother to talk.

If you really want to play the game I’d either wait for a sale on PS5 or upgrade your PC to where you can run the game

thats basiclly ALL i can do.. i cant shoot since 75% if far range so i try to get the best spots of outposts, listen what the commander says and tell my team info

you can also do the node thing as well at the start that gives you a trickle of xp which i think helps with whatever class your using as they come in so if you cycle engi and support for the first 7 and a half mins you get a extra boost of xp which can be a lot if its a full hour and a half game and you keep your 3 nodes up the whole time

supply truck also gives you xp for driving it at a fixed rate and having the supplys used counts towards it as well

i actually joined a few games before and joined public open tank squads, didnt have toruble communicating. I think its best if you try and find community servers maybe and network there maybe to try and find open squads

@dawn widget forgot to reply-, also i'm also kinda new so I don't know. I sometimes just join a 2 man to fill in the third, but its kinda akward sometimes lol

Fog was introduced because on night maps people just turned their brightness to 200% and could see like it was day. So they made fog as a “solution” to this problem

But what i learnt was you can joint squads near the end of the game and get the exp they earnt as your own at the end of the round.

the XP for the classes you are getting realTime fully and are not impacted by the post-match bonuses

I run 32gb of ram, a 12th gen i7 12700k (my boost clock is like 4.9 to 5 ghz) and a 3060 12gb. If I run on medium low I get a solid 120-144+ fps. You might be a little under that but it'd be playable.

It might not look amazing either but I'm satisfied with just having the pure high framerate.

Your cpu has a boost clock of 4.6ghz. The cpu should be fine it's only a little slower than mine on max boost. The 4060 might suffer a little due to low VRAM total but that's only if you try to max out your texture resolutions. The ram would be the only thing messing with you.

Dont know what map it was but there is a US defense point called crossroads and i sat at the end of it in a light tank just sending shells and bullets down the road solo
