if you play medic and you see a downed friendly, that means there is an enemy still around. its usually best to clear the area first. too often i see medic go for revive first, then they get gunned down by the same guy

Ops are portable squad spawns placable by squad leaders every 2m,
They are destroyed if a enemy comes within 10-15 meters; they have a respawn timer of 20s, and glow red if enemy is within 50m

Garrisons are the second use of the watch and they are team spawns that use supplies, placable by supply trucks, support (every 5m), or air drops from commander
(100 in red, 50 in blue)

They can be placed every 200m or grid square

They cycle on 40s

And are blocked out completely if enemy is within 50m (blue) or 100m (red)

Artillery I can not help with

the keys C V X are for comms but when I click them they open my mic but sometimes not everyone can hear me can you explain what they do/how they work

X is only availible as squad leader, commander and tank commander, or spotter

They communicate between each other

C is available to everyone except commander, and they speak between your squad

V is anyone physically near you, as a note it’s much quieter on average so you may need to speak louder

um, have u ever herd of leading? just aim a lil in front of the enemy ur aiming at (and when i say "in front" i mean relative to the direction they are going if they go left u lead left), its diffrent on every gun so how much u have to lead i cant tell ya, that's something u have to get a feel for but in general SMG and pistols you will have to lead more then rifles/asult rifles

yea I heard of leading and I do it if the enemy is on the move but my problem is more with the timing of the shot rather than it's placement

The game has moderate lead time and very little drop. At just about every range you get a fight in you won’t need to aim up. Lead spacing out to 200m will be about the width of your reticle

So if they are 150 you would aim in front of their movement, but still keep them within the outer circle of the garand sights, roughly

sorry for the long answer time, anyways the inconsistency is when I shoot my rifle when they enter my ironsight I miss or hit and if I shoot a lil bit before they enter the ironsight it's sometimes a miss or a hit again, it kinda seems random rn but most likely I don't see something important

oh that would be moa peobably, esencualy that would tell ya the spread of a rifle, so sometimes even if u aim at the same spot u might not hit the same spot since there is a lil bit of rng of where the bullet will go, its kinda like when u hipfire just way reduced

if ur wondering why this is in the game its because irl u cant make every bullet 100% the same so small diffrences cause a lil bit diffrent bullet volocity and tragetory

but sould only start to encounter this beyond 100m at a minimum

You guys are too in depth. Game doesn’t have minute of angle inaccuracy. For example if you are a squad leader and use your binoculars to put your crosshair on an enemy’s head, you can switch to your gun (mp40, garand, pistol, doesn’t matter) and the first shot will headshot them at any distance that bullet drop doesn’t fubar the shot.

Works out to 500m, and stops there because that’s the distance infantry stops rendering

When you are leading a shot, the angle your target is running relative to you changes how much you have to lead.

And each gun has a different bullet velocity so the leads are different for different guns

But for most rifle engagements under 150M, the drop is the same or less than the size of your target so it doesn’t matter much if you shoot center mass

Travel time can be a lot. Up to a good portion of a second

Pistols are the worst offenders but at max range you will feel it on everything

500 m isn’t the bullet drop start, it is the distance that two guys will be invisible to each other

Because game issues. If you are a tank gunner you will notice the infantry pop in and out at 500M while max zoomed

Grab a rifle and accept you're going to die a Hell of a lot and run a Hell of a lot starting out. Find a squad with a reasonably ranked SL with a mic and talk/cooperate with them. They'll teach you more than anything.

That's the T17 friends list/invite system. You'll have to add them manually on there unless you can just invite them from the PS system. If you use T17 make sure they give you their in game name AND the numbers after it.

TC quite literally controls the movements of the tank and spots enemy infantry and tanks, obviously friendly infy will put enemy tank pings out ( at least they’re supposed to ) and enemy infy

MG is more useful the further you are. You can kill people from 500 meters out and lock down many grids, if the map permits. On more dense maps it's often more useful to just camp a road and shoot anyone that tries to cross it - figure out which road or strip of land the enemy must cross, and deny it from them. Also it's always better to be high up. On Kursk I always jump on those beams above trenches just so I could see better.

Only if you're really good at dodging bullets. Back in my day the trick was building nodes then using whatever kit you wanted to level. The node xp passively adds up the entire match and goes towards whatever kit you use.

Also dont just look out aimlessly pick a wedge of landscape and scan it from the leftmost to the rightmost dont take too long but pass your main central vison over everything your mostly looking for head shapes or movement do you scan about in 10 seconds or so and get back in cover assume as soon as you stuck your head up someone noticed and is actively aiming on you so you want as much useful info as you can quickly then if you dont see anything wait a litlle bit (in cover) and do it again then move then do it again.

HLL shooting mechanics are easy though. Mostly point and click. Learning how to peek better, learning unfair spots, and how to take unfair gunfights will help you more

The only other thing you can do is play around with the Anti Aliasing presets. Various people use various options, but I've used Community AA for my 1600+ hours and it's been fine and dandy.

You load in a shell in the 2nd seat, you can load HE or Smoke. Both have their own munitions costs associated with them.
Then in the first seat, you see the mil to distance ratio.

You (preferably) place a marker on the map, usually the artillery marker, turn the gun towards it. You'll see the distance on your screen or in the compass to that marker. Do the math, tune up/down the mils to have the correct distance and then shoot.

Is there a way to filter out servers which are less than 100 but all reserved or queued. I'm sick of trying to join and finding out it's a got a queue or worse, it's all reserverd

How can I hide servers that when I join I cannot play the game but im instead stopped because reserved slots, full queue, or put into queue? I want to only see servers that I can join and play immediately.

There are only the filters. Have it where it doesn't show full, empty, or password. It won't rule out the full queues but you can't see what does and does not have reserve spots.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time, but when there are only 976 servers, which many are paid by people's own money and NOT by Hell Let Loose's company set up as official services, it's tough to get everyone in with over 50k people trying to play. Why it shows the 99/100 is because it's not 100/100. It's technically not "full". I am not a dev, so I can't give the exact reason beyond that. Probably the first. Lately xbox players have been experiencing voice issues on mass. Most likely something in regards to the game not recognizing your mic as a input device or it being re-set back to nothing by the game. Sadly there's no way to respecify the inputs on console afaik.

Some classes are very easy to level, such as Engineer and Anti-Tank, as where some are waaaay harder to level, such as Assault. That's mostly due to the difference in gained score.
In any case, you can speed it up with the engie node method which'll make your entire team happy.
It's also deffo worth and when you reach those sweet milestones it'll feel like a great achievement and you'll learn many tactics and skills along the way.
