Most comms issue are on client side due to ALT MAC Address in place, or some other blocker on the network side.
1.) Remove ALT MAC Address
2.) Double NAT issue
3.) Network must state "OPEN"
4.) Try adding Xbox IP to modem\router as a DMZ device for "Troubleshooting" if everything is resolved it's something blocking between client and modem\router.
These are the only things I can offer for possible resolution.

If you do the DMZ thing it's really for troubleshooting and rules out own network issues. You can remove IP from DMZ to be secure again. Putting in DMZ bypasses all firewalls and leaves PC to the internet, meaning all ports are open. If you don't care about that then it's fine. 😉

We’re continuing to see server problems with the Game Pass version of Hell Let Loose on PC for Windows Store.

Discrepancy in UTC time on servers – which is off by a few minutes – is causing the errors.

A temporary workaround for this is to turn off crossplay while we work on a fix. We’re hoping to have this addressed on Monday, January 8th. Will keep you posted. Thank you for your patience.

TLDR Gamepass on PC will be near impossible to play until tomorrow where it will be fixed and back to normal

It’s not a guaranteed fix, but there are no other solutions for the time being. You may have to keep trying a multitude of servers before one allows you in.

There’s two forms of comms in HLL (I’m not sure how console handles it) which is local speak and unit speak, or a radio to put it better. See if you have key binds for both. Some people might just have their VC off though.

I'm on PS5, but sometimes you can bump out of the glitch by leaving the squad, waiting and rejoining. Or restarting your console is another method - annoying I know, but PC players have their issues also

I've connected/reconnected my VOIP a lot today. Made sure I'm in Unit radio. Cleared my MAC alternate. Made sure my controller is up to date. I'll remove all USBs too as this appears to be a new one. I only have an external hard drive at present.

I think the increased traffic from the game getting added to game pass has completely over run their servers. Don't really know how they didn't expect this but I would expect a patch over the next couple of weeks.

so to give a little insight based on common knowledge. step 1 tr and join a server with 1/100 if you cant your not going to join any dont waste your time try again later. i have played a few games via game pass but theres also servers that restrict against gamepass. ive been denied server acess because of (microsoft store purchase) that being said the join criteria has not been edited in main game scripts to allow cloud game access. so again untill they script in free use via gamepass there will be some join errors, some say turn off crossplay but it doesnt help if you are still gamepass user, its across pc for that matter seam users experiencing the same issue

ao from what i gather, i turned off the crossplay and bam almost every server is gone and only a few with 2-6 people in them on my pc. any of those i chose would put me in a server que and then tell me the game is full.

to me it seems that they have a networking bug that needs fixed or they need to enable full crossplay or it wont be playable for PCs. and yes i checked everything with wireshark and went through everything, its telling me that there is an error and the packets are being denied on their end

just sort by ping and youll get whats nearest to you

even the low ping servers will lag a little so the lower the better, but even full capacity servers are fine as you can just join the queue. wait till the queue is 5/6 and join as fast as you can and you just need to wait a bit. watch some tiktok or something

Same here dw, on console you can just search for a game but on pc you have to go through the whole process of being let down after a server has 80 people playing and 6 people in queue but cant join it because its full. I refreshed 10 times and this 1 server had 7/64 yet the server was full

Source-i regularly am the one to find games for groups.

Otherwise, favoriting all the servers in your region [normal ping for your setup]
And using the history or favorites tab instead of the filters in the general search tab will save you a lot of time

Overall though server browser really needs some TLC

Playing on Xbox app for PC (Streaming through Xcloud), & since yesterday my VOIP stopped working. Before when I would speak my name would appear to show that i was talking. Now for some reason it has stopped and no one can hear me and I can't hear them. VOIP says connected in options menu, microphone works in other programs/games. I've changed nothing on my end. I did just learn today also that I can tap the dpad to appearantly turn on/off the voice activated mic. Doesn't make a difference which way i have it set. Yeah, this is the problem I have. Games Pass has, what? 22 million subscribers? Let's be conservative and say ONLY 10% of them use Gamespass on PC. That's 2.2 Million people you're inviting to play your game with a potential view to purchase DLC or enjoy it so much that they want to purchase it on Steam AND Microsoft are going to pay you for the privilege. It's a win - win. And yet they bork it. It's not bugged, or slightly broken, or a bit laggy. It just plain does not work. Unless you're just playing so horribly that you don't gain any XP, it's either slow acceleration or a glitch. Rejoining or restarting the game should fix it.

I can't play the game... I ridiculously high ping. Like 180 for no reason. My Xbox test says I'm running at around 60 to 70ping on any other game. When I get ino a game and my ping is 100 to 120 I get kicked bc is gets disconnect from the server.. I also have direct connection to my wifi

Most officers are people who join the game and don’t understand how to join squads or they have no mic. I don’t understand how it’s not one of the more popular classes it’s so fun managing a squad

Certain riflemen, spotter (recon squad), and support loadouts can drop ammo boxes, you have to ask in your proximity if anyone has one; the commander can also drop a resupply crate, though it's rarely used. Otherwise you're out of luck.

Ah, yes, each spawn has an independent timer, player built garrisons are 40 seconds, outposts are 20 seconds, HQ garrisons are 10 seconds, which reset when they reach 0

It's a balance between finding the best or closest spawn, but also the one with lowest time

It’s best to just find the closest and stick it out or befriend a Veteran of the Game who can explain to you on a more personal level how to be successful in the game
