I know somewhere where you can get similar stuff, its called Russell Military Museum in Zion Illinois (basically Kenosha Wisconsin) it has a whole display of tanks, planes, helicopters, and other military/ historical vehicles. If your ever in the area i highly recommend yall check it out

Looks like an exacto knife by the markings. (Putty and exactoknife)

If so well done that takes some skill to keep proportionate, also AFAIK I don't think they put zimmerit on fenders and non essential parts. Edit: I am completely wrong ignore that.

how do you do it?

white stripe through the eye, vertical black line for the pupil, then tidy up with basic skin color and shade around the eye with a darker wash (Citadel's Reikland Flesh or Druchii Violet works well). Then, if the sculpt allows it, do a small highlight on the lower lid. That's usually enough for 1:35 for me.

Also, maybe even run a very thinned down wash through the eye to tone down the stark white I paint in the eye.

And I always keep my paint really, really thin, I don't use that many different colors, but rather build up the highlights from a dark basecoat.

You can do a lot with those washes - this head is way bigger (1:16), but you can see how I do shading and highlighting.

I added chipping by putting a layer of the red alley it dry then spray it with hairspray then put the Camo coat on so it chips

I got drunk and tried to make a to-scale (1km x 2km - it's not perfect with the grids) tac map for the Battle of Seelow Heights in April, 1945...we need more Soviet v German maps!

The Soviet 47th Army & 3rd/5th Shock armies advance from the top of the map (which is actually Northeast irl) having just crossed the Oder River after taking the garrison city of Kustrin east of the Oder. They encounter strong resistance from the German 9th who are the last line of defense along Reichstrasse 1, the highway that leads directly into the heart of Berlin.

I can't say with certainty this is actually where a major battle took place (it does seem like it, given the conflict across the river in what is now Poland), but as far as the HLL map scales go, it has some interesting strongpoints, like Lunette and Oderdamm which are remnants of a 19th century hexagonal strongpoint/castle on Oder Island. Feel free to roast me or share feedback if you know more than my smooth-brain does about this iconic final act on the Eastern Front
