in your settings you can turn your hud to always on, this way you can see if an objective point is being won or lost

best thing you can do is find a squad on a community server with mic comms, let them know you're new

there are two game modes Warfare and Offensive. In Offensive you are on either the attacking or defending team. In Warfare both teams are attacking and defending active sectors. That's a pretty high level overview

It can feel like a lot but you'll work it out the more you play

LnE groups are challenging to operate. On one hand you need to drive many trucks and swing many hammers to build up defenses. On the other hand you either get bombed/assaulted/hit by an act of terror (satchel), or you build up a point that nobody reaches anyway, or you build up a point that the entire platoon loses in 47 seconds.

The tanks have some sort of weird hit-box now so you crash into small branches and piles of rocks you’d before was able to drive over/through. also the acceleration is messed up because now you can’t go 4th gear in sharp turns and move up the hill in fourth gear. It basically sucks. And repairing takes too long, and you can’t move while repairing or get into the tank whilst holding the blowtorch.

I highly recommend learning the ropes of the game in an infantry team to understand before having to worry about driving/shooting/spotting in a tank.

Play assault/rifleman for a bit to understand gameplay mechanics then learn tank.
