@solid tapir The entry and the learning curve can be quite hard to be honest. It's not a game where you can run around running and gunning like in COD style. It's far more slower pasted.
If you can, find a few friends to play the game with. In my experience the times where you really communicate and work together as a squad makes the game literally a thousand times more enjoyable. If this is not possible then don't be shy and start talking to your squad mates in-game and ask them any questions you might have. I think this community is one of the best regarding and helping new players to find the love for this game 🙂

You can also ask in this channel for some players to squad up. I am also looking for more people to play with regularly.

I myself backed this game up back in 2017 when it was on kickstarter and I also have like 945 hours.

I'd say most games you have a 0.4 to a 2 k/d (Unless you play arty or tanks, which you can make a bigger impact and not die as often)

K/D is important, but not as important as map control, since that's how you win games.

I played one game on my own, but it went horribly because nobody in my squad was just doing their own thing and the squad leader didn't wanna unify us at all. I'm fine with being given orders!
