I would consider upgrading to a better or newer gpu. Vietnam is being run on UE5. And UE5 is already a buggy mess of an engine. It takes a lot (like an unnecessary amount) of tweaking even in HLL to get it to not only look good, but run better. I upgraded from a 2070 Super to a 5070 and noticed a massive difference in framerate.

I loved my 2070 Super. I still have it in case of a backup gpu scenario. But, with Vietnam being made in UE5 it makes me think that users with 10 series, 20 series and even lower tier 30 series cards are vulnerable to not having a game run on it

Anyway, the loss of hope and HLL(1)'s time running out is the reason why I have been more silent lately. I still may react here and there but I think my time for stand-alone HLL suggestions and feedback is over. The devs never listen to anybody where it matters, we will likely never get even those darn mortars or subfactions-based uniforms/loadouts.

Try to memorise gun sounds, don't rush in, actively use cover, watch where team mates are getting shot from, use binos if you have them and most importantly communicate!

and the same way when you will over time learn the maps from both faction's PoV and you will be able to know where there are usual spots to engage from

...and the problems that come with it (like the melted-down chocolate filled window holes you can't see inside to)

Aside from the good advise already given, be careful with open exposed areas, people can engage you from 200/400 meters, which you might not expect. Also set a low fov, and lowest fov when ads to help you with these longer range engagements
