I am watching the yesterday's CONQUEST playtest stream. Judging by the emptyness of the test server in which even the devs and Ben were, I believe it's quite obvious that the CONQUEST in its introduced main setup is almost of no interest to the HLL playerbase. Myself included.

They still talk about the morale (aka global tickets) as if it's gonna change how it's played. But it won't at all. A player who wants this or that tank will get and use that tank no matter what's its morale cost. Because he can. And infantry won't ever care either.

The morale would need to be on __local __scale - either tied to individual squads or individual players or sector lines or mix of those. __Global __tickets won't ever make anybody to change their playstyle and play more carefully, ever.

it's not uncommon for a denfensive position to be able to engage enemies out to 200m

but on the attack, most killing happens under 100m

as a defender, ambushing under 20m is extremely risky in most circumstances

if only because that means the enemy is 20m away from something important like a spawnpoint or strongpoint
