And when killed, they find once more such spot or return to the 1st one. True "pros" 😄 . More like n00bs because when they are outside of such cheeky spots, they are usually easy to kill.

As long as the officer knows that you can hear them it's fine. Unfortunately there's a setting in game that disables the chat from popping up for new messages. It might disable the scrollwheel messages too, like "Requesting Orders", I dont know, I haven't tested it.

You don't lock it out completely until you are within 5 meters. If their timer hits 3 seconds they will lock in and spawn even if you lock it out after.

Which is why you can sometimes pop an OP and then stand there and mow 3 guys down when they appear there a second later.

Assuming everything is in the enemy's blue zone. If they built the garry in their red part of the map, you only need 1 soldat within 100m of it to completely lock it.

Just run a satchel or unlock the lend-lease bazooka. Otherwise, Russian AT is not worth your time.

I think the idea is it is meant to team shoot with multiple gunners. The problem is people don't work together generally and the other issue is you can't set up the AT rifle in more than half the places you want to when you get a good angle. The other half you're on a map like Kursk and your only option is to lay down with tall grass preventing you from seeing 2 feet in front of you anyway.

Yo can someone explain me why some officers or commanders get super mad when their squad or team is not too experienced so they are losing? SPA limits are based on the spawn point, except for the default first one which I think is based on the middle

Definitely check out https://hll-ecl.eu/ then. Get onto their discord and ask there. Find some teams that speak your preferred language and join their community.

I'd also suggest DasAltberg and Smithers on YouTube to watch some matches. I think the way HLL is played at the top level surprises people newer to the scene, whereas lower tier matches are much closer to public lobbies.

When picking a team, make sure you pick a team which attends a couple midweek events too. Almost every evening has a mixed community event being played about 8PM CET

Anyone ever run into a server bug where you get auto kicked for not being at/above required level even though you are? Just had it happen for first time ever. Min req: 25. Current: 80.

Two reasons it could happen.

First is a level 1 bug protection being off. Steam desync issues and all that jazz.

Second is that you might meet level reqs but you dont meet level of play reqs. Depends on if the server kicks for bad play or not.

One of the proposed fixes is opening up for more data to be passed between client and server. The one test we completed had fewer issues than usual so seemed promising, but probably needs more testing

Arty is still the same camp HQ by recon meta, now you can get a SPA which are just weird and don't fit into the game at all.

The community wanted a proper commander arty ability(we are nearly there, needs tuning) and mortars. Not SPAs and not field artillery that require HQ camping to mitigate.

Get killed on your arty gun/it gets blown up > spend 5 minutes hunting the recon player > rebuild > they reappear/respawn on their OP rather than the garrisons they were on and repeat

The only complain I have now is the AT being a bit too much powerfull against tanks since it can pen medium easily, the panther being much more harder to drive, and the damn lod and hitbox issues

I can work with enemy ATs being strong and the panther being harder to drive, but the LOD issues, those are impossible

And also as an AT main I think the "balance" they did to allow bazookas to pen mediums was also a big mistake. AT was better balanced before the tank changes and when we only had 2 rockets but had to know and play to the different faction launcher strengths.

Panzerschreck was stronger but harder to sight, and you had a bolty. Bazooka wasn't as strong and needed to get behind anything medium or up, but it was easier to aim it and you had an m1. It was literally fine.

All the messing around and they still can't give any attention to making the game stop crashing every other match. Insane.

But tank is a little bit wobly

We take 10 minuts to reach the point in a Stuart because the tank keep sliding on the road

The Firefly has (or had?) similar issues; it just can't go in a straight line, it's always veering off slightly to the left or right, forcing the driver to constantly countersteer
