Again it depend you can use a flamethrower out of cover or if the enemy was smart has a backline garrision that would 1 minute to destroy.
As much as hunting nodes isnt fun its still good for it. Killing 3 nodes with like 2.5% of your tank instead of waiting and pressing one button for 3 minutes is pretty good.

Again 1% of cases, there is a reason you dont see it much out there.

Nah, if you're sensible with positioning and use them then they're quite good. They kill OPs, so some positions will be impossible to take if an SPA is used

SPA would be quite OP in comp I imagine. Since they can wipe outposts etc. But they are still crappy and unfun to play. They would be much better served as SPGs. Which is a really easy change for them to make, and to balance them, give them a heft reload time and slightly reduced splash

Direct hits with HE don’t really seem to do much but the HE explosion instantly shreds tank treads and seems to badly damage lighter tanks. Just shot near a recon tank and broke its wheels instantly

It’s the same curve and you don’t get as many shots. Wouldn’t recommend sniping with them but as they seem to pen any armour and can one shot mediums so, you can still use them at close range.

Eh if you die while standing still I'd say is still skill issue. I wouldn't like tanks to be as easy to play with as just standing still. If you have a full crew and a spotter that actually looks around and keeps checking, then it shouldn't be that easy to defeat you

Honestly it is though. You can just lob rockets at German tanks and it'll pen just fine into hull, whereas US tanks actually can be a pain from far distances

You only need to hit a tank once for it to be forced to retreat / repair, and then they lose any positional advantage
