The game doesnt do a very good job of emulating german mechanisation because you cant fight from the back of the Halftrack as they did IRL only dismounting ontop of the position to be attacked

Assume the context of the game is correct tho, it absaloutly emulates normal leg infantry or motorised infantry which fought at the same way in practise. I.e as leg infantry. In which case, logistics should be horse and cart lol

And about rank cosmetics in general - I wish if:

  • nonSLs were able to choose anything between Pvt - Sgt
  • SLs between Sgt - Cpt
  • the Commander between Cpt - whatever up.

And if unlocked by the respective career level ofc.. If level too low, a player would have just the starting rank of this or that rank from his class's rankRangeSet.

All three. There are community server's where you'll find the flavour you're looking for. Some communities are casual, others are more serious and offer comp or milsim. Some strategy and team work is required to really enjoy the game.
I'd say it's harder than a casual shooter, some new players say they can't see the enemy, but once you get a grasp of the game modes and map flows you'd be fine. Might depend what other shooters people have played

Feels like somebody I killed too much didn't have any WH or aimbot or etc. cheating software case against me and decided to use using macros to take me down and to try to get me a ban on the community servers. If it would be officially cheating... he may even succeed tbh.

I have considered it a part of clean stuff since many arty-users have been using it too. Like... I wouldn't make a peep if I was using anythign to help me aim or spot people, but being called a cheater because of something that is being used while I am dead, feels a bit off.

I would understand if it was something that would be activelly helping me in combat - aimbot, wallhack stuff like that. But a macro... one that I use while I am dead (and even made the mouse pointer to actually go there instead of clicking xy coordinates of the REDPLOY button on the screen to save time), I just can't get to recognize myself as a cheater.

The default tanks spawn 5 minutes after they're kaputt. Light tank on the left, medium in the middle, and an armoured car on the right. If you see other people on the map using these, it's extremely likely that they're using the default tanks and they wont spawn anytime soon. (unless the commander does it)

Do you have it as one input/one output for audio settings? Mic isn't necessary (except some community servers require it for lead roles (Spotter, Commander, Squadlead/Officer, or Tank Commander) but it's really beneficial to use.

no worries. Its a bug in Unreal Engine 4 that causes a lot of the crashes. Tell your freind to do the same. If it still crashes then it will be related to something else.

My laptop is not made for gaming :), ofc my expectations are very very low, except when i change resolutions or try tinkering with settings most of the time it does not use all of my igpu(40-70%), and the framerate doesnt usually change all that much(almost like its stealth capped) e.g. i could shrink resolution from 1920x1200 to ~1280x smth and fps would increase by around 5-10 max, or smtimes not at all

and the gpu usage only drops

my cpu usages never goes over 30-40, and it is more than enough for HLL, it should be my gpu lacking but in most of these cases its not, idt its a bottleneck at the cpu

You have to delete your Steam Download Cache. You have to delete your Saved folder and reconfigure everything within game. You have to delete the dx cache with Disk Cleanup tool. If you have Nvidia you have to clean up your Shader Cache. You do NOT want any Steam Launch options period. You don't want any OC system wise. You have to be sure you have your latest BIOS, drivers, and your Windows is fully patched and updated.

-dx12 is not supported YET it's coming but still could probably even cause the same issues for some regardless of supported or not. It is the only option that will give SOME extra FPS but it is known to cause stuttering and crashes thus the reason for not even using any.

I played the game for over a year at 30-55 max and have now been playing for 4-5 additional at 75-1500 and personally I notice absolutely no difference. Game has always been smooth for me no matter the FPS.

So I tried Hell Let Loose while it was free on Steam, but then figured I had it on Epic Games from a while ago when it was free... Even though I logged with my Epic Account on Steam in-game, are they actually separate accounts? Level 1 again on Epic ⚰️

But progress from Steam doesn't carry over to your Epic account and vice versa.

In the game on the Steam version there was a button in the menu to log in with Epic Games account, that or I'm hallucinating from another game

people run and gun so much that medic isn't that useful, but because they run so much they completely lose track of what's happening on the map. if people took it slower, like they should, medic would be more useful

the british medic has 6 mags, so I guess that's 60 rounds. idk why they dont just increase the ammo all around, it's just silly to gimp the class like that

it should at least be a direct upgrade to a rifleman in all respects, but now people would rather go rifleman because they run out of ammo in a few mags or clips if they play medic

Fast exp is engineer. Everytime you die and respawn. Place the AT and AP mines. They add up fast. Can get 600-1000+ combat score in a single game easy. As well build nodes the obvious.

Newb here...when using the scope as a sniper sometimes it seems to glitch and goes back and forth between looking down the scope to not looking down the scope. Is there a setting I can adjust to help with that?
