theres already the reinforced m43 isnt there? free DLC tho, make that a level unlock, the standard airborne uniform the default. And then you have the hot drop DLC there too, plenty of maps to use it.

Most photos you see it will likely be from 1939 or later during the early years of the war, its often featured in many films and games because of how iconic it is. But in reality the uniform changed a lot through the course of the war, often times in very small ways usually as material conservation I believe

From what Im aware the field/side caps are just formal headwear when out of combat, when going into combat people would probably favour wearing a helmet. But I suppose there would be cases of someone losing theirs or being rushed into combat and not having the time to find it or something

Security being based off of local middle eastern militaries and Nato allies, so old/modern Nato and US equipment
A simple style that you couldn't really get wrong but they keep giving the insurgents weird airsoft larp gear. You can barely make a realistic middle eastern insurgent with the in-game customisation

Like right now I got into a discussion with some peeps in regards to heat-seeking missiles and how they destroy helis w/o warning and even when using countermesures still have a 80% chance to hit.

They apparently made it quite complex on how flares etc. work, decently realistic. Even though IRL rockets don't hit 80% of the time, flares are actually quite good.

So I just explained to them from a gameplay perspective, not having the ability to react properly and even if you do you still get screwed, isn't good.
They completely missed the point and wanted to argue with me how detailed they've made it...

Keep doing that as a support and either ask if any officer needs supplies, or put them in a usable spot yourself. If officers don't gravitate to build them, it's their fault. Just remember to put it in the blue and measure the distance to the nearest garry. Or play as an AT and focus on tanks when they appear - usually you can hear their cannon a mile away. If both AT and support are taken, go engineer and plant mines while doing the same thing. They're all a direct upgrade to just a rifleman.

Yeah, there's multiple benefits of playing on community servers:
-Less hackers due to actual existing moderation and plugins that help report players. (Official servers have no real way of dealing with hackers.)
-Structured rules that help maintain proper playing. (Stuff like reducing amount of un-led squads. Rules around having a microphone whilst Squad Leading or commanding etc.)
-Ability to get VIP. (Some servers offer free vip via "seeding" or just playing well. Some others allow it via donations or joining their clan. Meaning you can always get in the full server super fast.)
-Events (Many community servers host various events, such as tank only nights, grouping up in discord before-hand for more constructed play, teaching nights etc.)
-Competitive play (You can join various clans of set server communities and participate in competitive skirmish games or even tournaments later if you wish to do so.)
-Higher probability of proper matches (As in increased amount of talkative players. Reduced amount in steam-rolls. Playing using proper strategies, squad leading etc.) (There is still RNG to this based off time of day etc. but overall it will be a better experience.)
