There aren't any "mods" for the in-game official servers.
If you make a ticket and provide undeniable proof, they /might/ get banned, but that'll only happens days if not weeks later

Although, in my 4 years and nearly 2k hours, never heard of anyone getting banned off a official server

Yeah, there's multiple benefits of playing on community servers:
-Less hackers due to actual existing moderation and plugins that help report players. (Official servers have no real way of dealing with hackers.)
-Structured rules that help maintain proper playing. (Stuff like reducing amount of un-led squads. Rules around having a microphone whilst Squad Leading or commanding etc.)
-Ability to get VIP. (Some servers offer free vip via "seeding" or just playing well. Some others allow it via donations or joining their clan. Meaning you can always get in the full server super fast.)
-Events (Many community servers host various events, such as tank only nights, grouping up in discord before-hand for more constructed play, teaching nights etc.)
-Competitive play (You can join various clans of set server communities and participate in competitive skirmish games or even tournaments later if you wish to do so.)
-Higher probability of proper matches (As in increased amount of talkative players. Reduced amount in steam-rolls. Playing using proper strategies, squad leading etc.) (There is still RNG to this based off time of day etc. but overall it will be a better experience.)
-Additional plugins for more of an enjoyable experience (Commands to see last killer, commands to see next map, kill leaderboards, stat overviews (RCON), etc.)

Your friends probably are doing stupid shi', so they get stupid results.

Follow the servers rules, be communicative with your squad members and if you're new, just don't take leader positions.
If you follow those 3 steps, you're gonna have the absolute best games this videogame has to offer on those servers.

Especially if you find a server whoms rules and community you enjoy

With this latest update, the GPU usage is really low. What has happened? In Tobruk it is around 30-60%, mainly around 50%. Same thing in other maps too. PHL yesterday, around 40%. It used to be 80-99%. 9800x3D & 5070ti in DX12.

Couple thoughts on new updates

Flamethrower damage to trucks - We were told that flamethrower damage to trucks would be increased/ttk would be decreased. This change only affected the troop transports. Supply trucks still cost 80% of your flamethrowers' fuel and with no way to refill it this feels bad and perhaps unintended.

Structure Durability - Currently heavy tank ap rounds can destroy all buildable defensive structures except for tier 3 bunkers. This feels incredibly bad and devalues the whole concept of building anything.

I propose

• Tier 3 Structures eg. bunkers and barricades only be destroyed via P strikes and Satchels
• Tier 2 structures eg. bunkers, barricades, tank traps only be destroyed by bombing runs, he artillery and up
• tier 1 structures eg. bunkers, barricades, barbed wire only be destroyed by heavy tank rounds and up

this would still allow for enagging building and destroying gameplay. without ruining the experience of ever building anything

people get tired of building things on those servers all the same, and they tire out building them in real games. everything built there could've been built in a real game and it wouldn't have been a waste. the only major issue with restricted loadouts imo is that AT-guns and explosive ammo isn't lvl 1 (maybe satchel for engineer should be lvl 1 too)

I don’t mind the unlocks, you have to put time into the game instead of just buying things. While I don’t think it’s perfectly balanced, I think some balance was thought of while trying to be historically accurate.
Example being the ammo carrier forced to use the Grease Gun. Which even then some like that gun.

I agree, their attempts at historical accuracy are inconsistent because of game design. I don't think it's perfect. But I do think that hiding better loadouts behind a grind is better than giving away STGs or making the player purchase them through a season pass or some other Ubisoft-level bs.

Trying to make an arcade-style milsim is impossible but I'm here to watch it change for the better. A fun game will always trump realism.

The current system is from the days of prototyping the game which the devs said they’d update since the current system is honestly not that good. But then they released the game later on and never updated the system.

They then said that after the game got going and it was obvious the loadouts weren’t going anywhere they told us that each loadout would be unique and they wouldn’t have direct upgrades. Come to the modern day and half of the loadouts are just complete upgrades.

The real issue is that I’m mad at the devs because they had no real plans for the game and instead just lied most of the time to please people.

I’m mad at loadouts because it’s just horribly implemented and doesn’t allow for much freedom. Having a point system where you can pick and choose equipment based on your role would be 1000x better

TLDR; I hate the devs and the current system should be replaced with a point system

Oh I see like a point system where you can get the weapons you want, to a limit. Like if you get the Panzerschreck you would have to get a Kar98 for balancing. I kind of like that.

I still think a meta would form where some loadouts are better than others but I think I'd like that change as well. That or if the Devs did flesh out the loadout progression

Metas will always exist especially in historical games. The STG will always be king, semi-auto’s and Automatics will always be the choice over bolt actions, etc

I do feel like though, if everyone could have a bazooka/satchel as the Soviets, then everyone would use it. It being locked behind a grind keeps the game at least a little balanced funny enough.

Satchels need to be specialized and nerfed into the ground. They should be used to track vehicles if used against them. But in all honesty they should be used to destroy fortifications and not tanks. Once again there poorly implemented
