I’ve never had an issue with tanks. Its being in a heli that sucks. Absolutely everything can hurt or kill you. Very quickly aswell. And planes are near on useless. Pilots could be shot out very easily aswell when they come in for a run.

Swapping seats to Backwards facing machine gun on the bombers melted fighters if they were terrible pilots. Good pilots would attack from below, injure if couldn’t kill in 1 run. And they would need to fly straight to repair so second pass easy. Anyways. Was easy for me i assumed it was just easy for all.

Could be multiple angles to look upon this situation.
It could be the positioning, it could also be lack of knowledge on enemy movement patterns on a map. After just general time playing, you kind of figure out where people like to move so you can anticipate it better.
In any case, the better mg guys I've faced off against usually swap positions quite a lot, just like snipers do, since any position, whether that be a road choke on Carentan or some roof angle in SMDM, if you're shooting for more than like 30 seconds from one location, you will get tapped by someone who's not a piece of cardboard.

There's some clips online showcasing spots of where to climb up on. Like specific houses and small sheds where you can place your mg on. I'd recommend watching those and just memorizing the models, then you can use that information universally on any map. On top of that, just general playtime will give you big bonuses.

Moving out in the open, probably too exposed, have jack crap no knowledge of enemy clothing nor' camouflages or anything.
Probably playing in a sub-par, mute squad where your SL either doesn't even exist or places the most dogwater outposts ever seen by man.

Level up the people you play with, ask them questions, learn the ropes and the kills will come with time.

Otherwise that take is about as dented if I were to say that racing games suck, because I slide out in corners whilst never have I ever played a racing game seriously.

It depends on what you are looking for in a game.

For people like you who expect to do well immediately, the "bad" thing is that the game is so hard, punishes you for mistakes and doesn't explain much to you.

For people like me who are avid "mil-sim" players, the "bad" thing about this game is how historically inaccurate it is, how poorly tanks are made, how much grind there is, how it's still too "easy" to play and how poor communication in this game is.

There is barely an objective downside to HLL, it depends on what you want from the game.

@past barn Try to play some Skirmish games to begin with. They are smaller and more focused which will get you in the swing how how some of the mechanics work. The smaller maps will mean you are walking less and fights are more direct, but take it slow, it took me a while to figure out how to predict enemy movements and spot infantry

Being revived is pretty much only good if you're already in an advantagious spot like on the strong point or if there isnt any good spawn options. Good garrison and outpost placement is often times far better than wasting time waiting for a medic which is far less relyable than a respawn

You are better off respawning in a better position with all your ammo and nades back than waiting for a guy to revive you in exactly the place you just died, also having a medic means you actively have a player who is pretty much useless in combat so you’re playing -1 already

My recommendations would be isonzo, and rising storm 2. They have a bit lower of a player count now but they are extremely fun and totally playable on the weekends

The actions a bit quicker and the spawns are faster than Hll or arma

Red Orchestra 2 or Rising Storm 2
Red Orchestra is eastern front ww2, not that many players but you usually get one full EU server idk about US servers and has bot support though they're not amazing. Also includes Rising storm 1 expansion which is the pacific theatre with the US against japan, less populated on average but the servers can fill up at times.
Rising Storm 2 is a standalone sequel to RS1 set in vietnam, more players than RO2, not really by that much but you will get full servers consistently

Delete your Steam Download Cache. PING though is another story. Just join servers where you know that the PING will be 3x on average higher when you enter from what you see on the outside before entering.

I can't play in a game over 100ms so I only join servers with a 20-25ms

If just getting booted out of the blue can be the Cache, being on a regular HDD rather than an internal SSD. Also be sure Date\Time are correct and set to Automatic and Sync'ed with Internet.

Some use VPN as well to get better or more stable PING.
