tbh I normally try to defend T17 a lot, but this delay with the roadmap is just imo completely unacceptable. If its for the calendar year and not FY, then there should be clarification. As at the moment the communication on it is piss poor

1. Compared to War Thunder, HLL's tank mechanics will feel even more arcady than WoT's.
2. Compared to CoD, HLL infantry gameplay will feel a lot slower and unpredictable.
3. You will die a lot, often wondering where the hell you got shot from. That's normal. Listen closely to gun sounds, stick to cover, move only after you're certain it's safe to do so and TALK to team mates to ask for enemy positions and let them know about enemy ones.
4. Again, communication is super important, so use your microphone.
   4.1 You'll often encounter squads that don't talk, but don't let that discourage you; this game is all about team communication.
5. Do not play on official servers, play on community servers (those have moderation).

The official servers are there in case they're necessary. No one is requiring you play on them, in fact even T17 recommends you play on community servers. Every time a wave of new players gets introduced to the game, some official servers will fill up. Over time all those players will flock to community servers again. It's no big deal.

The only 'different' build would be access to PTE when it comes up. It's a 2nd version in Steam, separate download, that's only open a set time (like it was Friday Feb 14-16 basically for the last PTE). Otherwise, the gamepass version is updated the same time as Steam/Epic Game Store on PC.

started playing the game today, and boy is it frustrating. I have gotten maybe 2 kills so far, having played all day, and been killed more times than I can count. idk how to play anything other than assault or rifleman. I seem to never see where I am getting shot from until I'm dead, and finding an enemy is like finding a needle in a haystack. I figured out the map and objectives via yt, so at least I know where to go, but it sucks getting killed over and over again

Big tip is to look at the map and look at your teammates. They mirror the enemies that aren’t shown on the map. Position yourself at a single angle to the big standoff and play patiently and scan at 100 meters. Being squad lead helps control your positioning, as you are in charge of your spawn point.

You can, just not inside of their HQ sector
