it requires a gtx 1060 6gb but my gtx 1050 runs the game fine at high and some settings at ultra

I think it depends on the distance and your style of gaming. I prefer the K98 but i always try to keep a range of >40m

how am i supposed to play sniper in this game? everytime i ask a spotter to join the recon unit they decline it and you cant be sniper by yourself

the only way I see of being sniper is by playing duo and having your friend create a unit before anyone else

Only 2 recon squads per team, and only 1 sniper per recon team. You have to find someone to play with or a spotter who will let you in. Why do you want to play sniper?

I think many people who were active here before T17 took over have finally broken up with this game and moved on, myself included.

• skirmish capture progress bar with a grey part and wrong (always red) colour when hiding/showing the HUD with T
• free-look so limiting and yet there are 1st person animations when we can see through the holes of our own shoulders, when looking sideways
• dynamic weather that makes the fog constantly flicker every once in a while
• indoor sounds that are still often getting broken and stay sound as indoors despite we get outdoor
• sounds blocked by obstacles often make them sound like they were much furhter away or from different angle
• loaodut presets that are still buggy in more than 1 way (pre-selected preset doesn't necessarilly show the correct uniform on our guy as actually some other preset is selected, just the UI shows the wrong one)
• flickering deployment screen's tacMap when a spawnpoint lost or created since the U16

• the infamous vaulting/climbing overhaul of Team17's that has caused and still makes players teleport high far above the vaulting spot for split of a second quite sometimes during the vaulting

that's why when I can, I use my momentum and jump over a vaultable obstacle sideways so I won't use the vaulting animation... otherwise I would have just a chance to show myself to the enemies because of the bug

back when the maps were even bigger of 2x2km and while having 25 sectors active all at a time, people were more spread all around. I liked that I never knew when I will run into a small skirmish or into a more intense combat.
With the current 1 objective to attack and 1 to defend, it is clear that the intense combat is always there without exception (when teams are not ultradumb ofc).

Hello, I’d like to ask something! I thought that landing on Utah/Omaha (where, as Americans, you start in boats, then sail to the shore, disembark, and capture) wasn’t possible in this game. Then I came across some mentions that it might be possible, but it has to be in Offensive mode or something like that. I’ve seen some videos about it, but in all the time I’ve been playing this game, I’ve never encountered it. Is there anyone here who knows or could advise where I might experience it? I think it could add a strong atmosphere to the game.

the boats have been the same for 5 years... if only the MGs were usable and the boats didn't take you off of the map, it'd be much easier. Much easier to land on Utah because it's much easier to shoot the defenders there.

Only a german machinegun could reliably hit between the armored plates while the boat is moving and quite far away, and if every boat had 2 MGs constantly manned, the german MGs could be outgunned. And while they're returning fire to the boats, they wouldn't be shooting at infantry on the beach. Boat MGs would also counter anti-tank guns pretty well.

The tanks don’t have to see inf, just other tanks, also MGs don’t have to be in the windmills to see the whole way across mid map.

Comp MGs on Kursk can rack up 2-300 kills consistently it’s that easy to lock it down

It’s just not a fun map when people actually know what they’re doing.

Yes, but also the vaulting allowed far more control and flexibility over what you wanted to do, and prone jump let you access more of the map which made the game more interesting

Yeah there's a thousand qol fixes and a resource rework and recon/arty rework that could really elevate the game, but nothing that hasn't been discussed ad infinitum

I wouldnt say its bad all around. theres a lot of good going for the game. The sound is fantastic, the atmosphere is great, the hit reg is miles better than a lot of shooters ive played over time. The maps are laid out well (Out side of the gaps in barbed wire that you can clearly walk through but still arent able to. Ive also found an invisible wall or two that shouldnt be there, stopping me from getting on top of a roof shack)
