Generally, just aim slightly higher the further out. You should have maybe a squad lead with you for those binoculars who could call out where you hit or too high/too low. You should be using the sights as well on the view for aiming. Otherwise it's pretty straight forward.

It's tough to practice... considering half the time those tanks are moving, not standing still. Most shots aren't over 200m in game, but you can certain try in game 🙂 Get a support player with the level 3 load out to give you 2 extra rockets!

Most multiplayer games like HLL have their own servers (which are shite because they don't have admins) so the community uses companies like G Portal. That way they can do whatever they like and change/reinforce rules. I think most server owners use the VIP charges to help pay for the server rather than pocketing it for themselves

Howdy! I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask but I had a question regarding a dev ban on my freinds account. Long story short I recently got a P.C and wanted to play the game with a buddy but he was banned roughly 4 years ago due to modding the game to have ray tracing and darker blacks.
Does he have any chance of ever getting unbanned. And if so how would that process look.

You need to have someone in the spotter position to get into sniper.

When the match starts and you see all the infantry squads and armor squads there's the recon role at the bottom but there's only two squads of two for it one role is spotter and the other is sniper. They tend to fill up fast if you're not quick

Yes I'm in EU so can't really talk about US servers. I did go on maps that have voting and guess what, the admins often ignore the votes. My friends and I voted for kursk so we can try it out. The vote won. Admins instantly force switched map to the French village lmao. I literally can't find a normal English speaking EU community server that simply had all maps. Found a Russian one though and speak enough Russian to use that I guess lmao

Steam achievs will work if you're referring to those, but overall yeah, there is a xp bug right now affecting a good portion of players, on various platforms and various servers. Multiple reports in #1211680595143426108 have been already posted, so I recommend you just post there that you're also experiencing the issue.
Contacting T17 support is a waste of time, since they'll just give you some meme fixes and end off with a "we're working on it"

Servers that are hosted officially need to do some kind of verification before they can properly send off xp stuff after games. Can't explain it 100%, since I'm not a server owner, but the tldr is that the issue can happen with incorrectly setup servers, but that's very, very rare.
And now it's happening more often, to more people in many different servers and platforms, so clearly not a singular servers issue

my feeling is a hot take, the infantry teams for soviet german and uk feel underpowered compared to the us team who only have a bolt action for the sniper and the stg and svt are in my opinion very special in this game compared to other ww2 themed games i will however die on the hill of the german rifleman is underpowered the tier 2 is a direct downgrade from tier one in every way

germans are not underpowered. it could be argued the british and soviets are.

the germans have several weapons like the STG44 and MG42 which make up shortcomings. The MP40 is also a very solid choice. Riflemen can level up and get the G43 which arguably the best weapon besides the garand.

also if you could unlock the STG44 for say, riflemen 9 it would become the most overpowered class in the game. You can have as many riflemen as you want in a squad so imagine a full stack all with STGs.

also there is almost no downside to unlocking the classes. the MG34 is objectively worse than the MG42 in every single way.

once you unlock it you will never go back.

AT rifles are pretty good in the right environment though. You're not killing tanks with a PIAT at 500 meters or more without cheating with some tool. AT-rifles just need garrisons across the map to get the necessary angles on enemy tanks.

PIAT and panzerschreck can penetrate everything except heavies from the front. Heavies from the side. Bazooka and AT-rifles are weak and can penetrate mediums and heavies only in the rear.
