the problem are not redzone garrisons, they are just a by-product of the bad sector & strongpoint system.

If the game was to be fair, both teams would have to have the strongpoints in the centres of the sectors and the sectors shouldn't be square-shaped to achieve it to start with.

You use outposts (after they’ve been buffed) to penetrate enemy lines, set up a position, and then move a truck to get supplies to the front or coordinate with another squad to get 100 supplies via supports. Sounds pretty simple

The node system is useless, the recon meta is based around spawncamping, theres no reason to not spam heavy tanks, the best maneuvers are done by teleporting your team, suppression does not function as a mechanic, recoil is often in straight lines including hip fired machineguns, the movement is so basic that it cannot go faster than a snails pace without being exploited, tanks cant go as fast as any actual tanks without breaking physics, the medic is an active detriment to a squad, the fastest way to move around or get ammo is to commit suicide, etc.

All I know is that I’ve put a lot of hours into this game both playing and thinking about the games systems and gameplay and that’s led me to the conclusion that HLL just needs to close its doors for a long while, rewrite the code or even completely redo new code, actually put more then one second of thought into an idea, and make sure we have a consistent gameplay philosophy of what style of game they want to make

I would say yes, if you want to buy a DLC, I would go for this one. You can use it on most maps, it’s a good camo that actually helps a bit (personal experience) and there is nothing like it in the game. Other DLCs are similar to unlockable uniforms, this one isn’t. Plus you get an uniform and a helmet which is not the case with other DLCs

When the servers are flooded with players who have no idea how the mechanics work, it is frustrating for the players that do understand the mechanics, yet depend on those players that do not.

Obviously the only way for them to learn is to play. So more experienced players will just have to bite through. But that doesn't make it any less frustrating.

If on PC - you have to be sure you have a single MIC and a single PLAYBACK device configured in Windows and set as default device. Disable all others.
