Are you actually launching the game and NOT the PTE=Public Testing? Be sure game is on internal SSD and not a regular HDD or external drive. Verify your game files. Also Delete your Steam Download Cache and once back into Steam do a Check for Steam Client Updates. Set In-Game browser settings in Steam to 5000 but NOT Automatic.

Does anyone else have this problem where, when spawning, the weapon loadout you selected doesn't appear, but instead, the standard issue weapon loadout? For instance, when I chose the "Point Man" loadout for the American rifleman, instead of giving me the weapons shown, it gave me the weapons in the "Standard Issue" loadout instead.

That, and the ending menu being very glitchy as well? For example, I'm unable to go above my username, and when I do, it just rubberbands me back to it.

But it's 50/50 because most players are actually not doing anything productive to win the game. Generally it's a game of who loses quicker than who is better 😅

Regarding the weapons: They are nowhere unbalanced. The US has the best weapon in the game as their standard rifle. Most of their lvl1 loadouts in important classes everyone can use are the best in the game. The Germans getting a good MG and good high level loadouts is just fair

The US and German loadouts are fine as is, though new weapons or alt loadouts to spice things up would be appreciated, especially for the Germans.

Any actual imbalance is more towards the Brits and Soviets imo. The latter still lack an auto rifle equivalent and both lack an MG on a similar level to the MG34/42 in terms of magazine count. If we ever actually got those deployable MGs from the old roadmap that might at least give them more options for sustained fire. Some of the Soviet loadouts are also pretty dire, the SVT only being available on Support and Squad Leader feels unfair when German Riflemen can use the G43.

Just add another loadout called "guard army" to the rifleman with a SVT. Or even better, add a dedicated eastern front 1942/43 German faction with G41s and one loadout with the MKb42, so the automatics would be reduced which would help balancing and be more accurate

Because it was more used than you think, it’s not a “prototype”. It was the predecessor to the StG44, the first successful assault rifle, and it was used at the Eastern Front in 1942/43, so it should be kept as a high level load out like the FG42

Ran steam as admin
Ran HLL as admin
Ran BOTH as admin
Installed another VPN to see if that works
Disabled my firewall completely
Allowed HLL & all files through the firewall
Turned the firewall back on
Uninstalled antivirus software

When I tell you nothing is working, nothing is working. I should not have to break the 4th wall, get tears of a virgin and the milk of a reindeer to play this god damn game.

Download Free Proton VPN and test. It's just a simple troubleshooting test. You can remove it after the fact. If it resolves it, then its a blocker somewhere on your system or along the line.

Disable all other devices and be sure you have a single MIC and single PLAYBACK device and set as your default.

Most issues on PC are usually PC related and not the game. Some have no issues while others have issues and most are from Microsoft. It’s important to not conflate effective “strats” as good design.
Being able to teleport your entire team past the frontlines in order to gain advantage over the enemy is certainly very effective, but it sure as hell is a poor game design. It makes literally every other maneuver not worth doing.
