Update on some of my buddies I got into this game from siege

They have found out what artillery is

And we are currently going through an entire squad artillery montage

We went though so hard on it we actually just had a field engineer and support put up walls around artillery. One of us ended the game 41-1

Offensive is pretty simple for your average player, Kriegspapa always takes command so I don't need to, and I can just float about as inf getting kills. On weekends and comp events I play logi and commander, so pub games for me is truly all about kills and fun

Yeah a tank crew with decent awareness. Had it plenty of times when we've seen a noob tank crew get in a tank and we tell them to NOT sit inside the point. We lost a game once for this exact reason. Noob tank crew stole our tank after we had said (the every other SL said) we are taking it as Utah calls for a decent crew on the first obj. I didn't spawn, I said and I quote 'I give them 2 minutes tops' as I saw them go through the point and sit round the back. They lasted a full 1 minute and 35 seconds before they were blown up. Cost us the game as their MG's had dug in too far before we could get another tank

Whole team agreed to stop spawning as it was a waste of time 😂 that tank crew soon left the game after that

True, but most get satcheled or rocketed due to the spacial awareness of a blind fish. A lot of the time if you sit with a Medium, smoking/shelling the MG nests, they'll be less likely to try and mount up so the infantry can push up. We never push into the point u less there's friendly infantry there, we just sit shelling/smoking while watching for AT guns

On average it's quicker to respawn than it is to wait for a medic. If you've got a decent OP then it is better to just respawn. If you don't have a decent OP, then you shouldn't be in that squad and can just open your own squad for free

If you're dying with your grenades, rockets, etc. Then you're probably not being very useful

Otherwise, just respawn and take a new angle or hold your previous one

You gain everything up to a point of being disconnected, kicked, etc. You won't get any XP obviously for Win\Loss, and no commends. So usually it's only hundreds of points rather than thousands.

It can happen if there's a crash or if you exit unexpectedly. It can also happen if your files become "Read Only". The files are here: %localappdata%\HLL\Saved folder gameusersetting.ini and input.ini. You can reconfigure everything within game and then save them off somewhere and if it happens again try copying them back into place.

Germany, you have to use the crappy K98 in order to use the rocket launcher. Even worse is Russia, you have to use the PPSH to use a launcher. The hitreg is gash at the moment and I've noticed it with tanks too. You hit tanks bang on where youre supposed to hit and it doesnt pen/do any damage. Had this a couple times in Heavies. Most recent was I was in a panther and non penned a fcking Stuart with AP to the arse... like come the fck on game

The issue is usually EAC conflicting with something on your system. If you have a third party AV\Firewall software be sure it's disabled and worse case you may have to remove.

If you are only using Windows Defender be sure you have 2 (Inbound) Hell Let Loose only in the firewall section. One for TCP and one for UDP.

You may need to try another class, spawn, and then try again. It also may be related to spawn position. I've had this previously with the wrong Spotter load out (level 1 vs level 3 with the flare) and it was always if I spawned at a certain spot (whether garrison or outpost, I don't remember). We use to have the glitch with spotter, where I'd spawn with the level 1 loadout instead of the level 3 I have selected, but I believe it associated with spawn points.

Level 1 bug is equivalent to the loadout bug.

The only difference is that you can visually tell when you will have the loadout bug simply by seeing whether you're level 1 on the scoreboard.

Also, there was the Christmas event, the one hosted by Powerbits clan - I was looking forward to it as the devs were supposed to play in it too. But if there were any devs and how many, we will never know because they didn't use any clantags to identify themselvs as devs, nor they had anything special in their Steam names. So there was no way to know which one was a dev to potentially talk to and which one just a random player. What good was it then to say that the devs played in it? Felt like nothing more than a random match since they remained incognito (if they were there).
